Eventually in I smell old people and I smell someone e cooking food.
"I'm Herschel greene" he says shaking my hand
"Alex" I say
"And around how old are you alex?" He asks
"14" I say
"Well I have a 17 year old daughter so maybe you two can become friends" Herschel says with a smile
I nod and smile
"Beth!" Herschel yells
"Comin" a blonde headed girl says while coming down the stairs
"This is alex and she is gonna stay here so I thought you could show her around" Herschel says
Beth nods and walks over to me
"So where do you want to start?" Beth asks me
"I don't know where ever you want to start is fine" I say
She nods and leads me into the dining room.
"Here is where we eat every night,we eat breakfast,lunch,and dinner"Beth says
"Wow that's a big table" I say
"Yeah we have 6 family members livin here"beth laughs a little
Then we go Into the kitchen.
A blonde headed lady that's older is cookin
"Alex this is mama" Beth says getting the lady's attention
"Well hello alex it's nice to meet you" the lady says will ring her hand with a rag
"Nice to meet you too" I say with a smile
We start walking in the hall
"There is one bed room down here and that's mama an papas" Beth says pointing to the door
I nod
We head upstairs.
We enter a hall. On one side there are 3 bedrooms and on the other a closet and a bathroom.
"This room is Maggie's" Beth says pointing to the bedroom closest to the stairs
She walks down to the next room.
"This is my room" Beth says
The we walk to the last room.
"This is the guest room also known as your new room." Beth says walking in the room
There are two beds,two dressers,two night stands and two lamps. Each side of the room has their own. I walk to the side with the Windows.
"Can I have this side?" I ask
"Yeah,your the only guest we have right now so you can pick" Beth says In the door way
I sit on the bed. The bed has a quilt with all kinds of beautiful designs on it and white pillows.
I stand up and walk over to the Window. I see the pasture,a barn,a chicken coop and lots and lots of trees.
I see a girl with short brown hair walk into my room.
"Thats Maggie" Beth says
The lady sets my bags against the wall.
"Hi" she says smiling.
"Hey" I say back
She walks into her room.
"You want me to help you unpack?" Beth asks
"No I'm good" I say
"Okay. Dinner will be done at 6 so be in the dining room then. If ya need anything I will be in my room." Beth says
I nod and place my bags over by the dresser and start unpacking.
I glance over at the clock. It's 4:30 pm
