One sunny afternoon my twin brother Ben and I were getting fitted for our formal wear for ben's coronation. He was to be king of Auradon our parents are Belle and the beast. You might of heard their story before "beauty and the beast." After I was done being jabbed I just watched my brother get fitted since I had time to spare before my tutoring with fairy godmother. I have dyslexia which I often hate about myself since my own mother loves to read. The only ones who know about this are my parents, Ben, Fairy godmother, and Chad charming son of Cinderella. Chad found out when we were 8 years old by accident, not even my best friend Lonnie (daughter of Mulan) and friend Jane (fairy godmother's daughter) know. Chad bullies me for my disability ever since then I've had depression attacks from time to time. After a while, our parents came in
"how is it in a month you'll be king?" Our father asked while my mother explained that Ben and I are 16. Dad said he didn't make a good decision till he was 47 but mom glared at him saying he married her at 26. I sighed looking down at my phone
"Sorry, mom, dad, and Ben but I gotta make my way to fairy godmother." My mother nods knowing how much I hate being tutored but knows I work hard for my grades. When I leave I hear Ben saying "I've chosen my first decree as king "I've chosen 4 of the isle's villain kids to come to live with us in Auradon"
My dad says "which ones have you chosen son?" I get worried for Ben since I know which ones he's chosen.
"Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella de Vil and Maleficent" my dad soon roared at Ben
"Maleficent she's the worst of them all son" I knew I had to be at tutoring but I quickly came in defending my brother
"Dad don't you think these kids should have a chance since mom gave you a chance all those years ago." After I said that I made my way to the tutoring room groaning as me and fairy godmother got to work. I wonder how Ben's doing with mom and dad. After a few hours of working on my homework, I sighed making my way back to my room. I just wanted to relax alone before dinner since Ben's so busy we don't have time for private fencing and knife-throwing lessons. Mom has no idea ben's been teaching me how to defend myself. I felt a lump on my pillow as I lay down looking at my ceiling. I found a beautiful key necklace that had a rose on it with a note from my parents
"Our darling Esme,
We know school has always been tough for you but we're so proud of how far you've come. We just can't believe you and ben are growing up but you'll always be our daughter and son."

Ps. I know about your fencing and knife throwing lessons and I approve- mom. I started tearing up and placed the necklace on my little table and started dreaming about a pirate who lived on the isle which is strange since I've never met the boy.
