You and Tom had a test coming up in potions, and both of you were stressed, because Slughorn was a very harsh grader. For the past two weeks, you and Tom have been spending all of your free time in the library, reading over every book that you could find on potions. You took pages and pages of endless notes, resulting in your wrist being extremely sore. You yourself felt prepared for the test, feeling that you knew all the material well enough to stop studying, but Tom insisted that you continue your sessions. You found his obsession over grades a bit annoying, though in reality those sessions were just an excuse for him to spend time with you, his real and only obsession.
