Get caught!

It was a late night. Turtles were relaxing after their hard training day and the smartest turtle was in his lab. Usually, he is working on his machines there, but today he was doing a different thing

Donnie wore kimono and took a box with inventions. He turned the pottery and opened a purple portal. He breathed deeply and entered the door to another world. Talena was reading a book. She lifted her face when she saw her new friend come.

"Hello, Donnie."

"Hi, Talena."

Don put his box on her desk. Talena's face lit up when she saw inventions in it.

"Woah, this looks so interesting! Can I touch it?"

"Of course!"

The smart turtle gave the princess T-phone. She pushed one of the buttons. It started playing music. Talena was so surprised that she was about to drop it. Donnie soon stopped.

"Sorry, it was too loud."

"No, I was just surprised. But why...why this small thing can play music?"

Donnie couldn't help him from smiling. Finally, he found someone who listens to his scientific talk. Talena asked interesting questions which made Donnie happy to answer. He felt she appreciates his ability.

He began to work in Talena's room, as he felt comfortable with her. Talena liked to watch how her friend is creating new things.

"Why are you having always the stick?"

Once Talena questioned pointing at Donnie's bō-stuff.

"Ah, this is my weapon. I use it in my fight."

"With a stick? How?"

Donnie showed some skills. The princess was impressed.

"Woah...this is so cool!!"

"Yeah, but other weapons are much cooler and more useful... Mine is just a stick."

"No! In our country, there are many people with katanas, but I saw someone who can fight with a stick for the first time! I think only very intelligent persons can handle it."

"You really think so?"

"Of course!"

The turtle girl's smile warmed Donnie's heart. He didn't feel such a feeling even with April.

"...Do you wanna try it?"

He asked carefully and Talena nodded. Donnie taught her some skills and it went much better than with Timothy.

"Donnie, Donnie. Don!"

The yelling woke the smart turtle up.

"Wha-what?"

"You again were sleeping, D."

Mikey said.

"Can you decide which to do, sleeping or eating?"

Raph said with his arm crossed.

"Donnie, you look tired recently. Don't immerse yourself too much in your work. You know how sleep is important."

Said Leo worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm sure."

"Okay! We finished breakfast, let's go to the hockey stadium to play with Casey. You all are coming, right?"

"Ah... I'll stay at home today."

"Come on, genius. April is coming too."

Donnie was motivated for a moment, but the feeling soon disappeared.

"Sorry, Mikey. But I have to finish my work."

He went to the lab.

"He's strange, recently."

"Yeah, really strange."

Mikey replied to Raph's words.

"Taly, Taly!"

A little turtle girl wearing pink kimono spoke to Talena jumping around her.

"I heard there is going to be the show on the street. We can watch it from the tallest turret of our castle!"

"Sorry, Amy. But I don't feel well today. I'll stay in my room."

"That's too bad."

Amoly seemed to be disappointed. Talena felt bad for her, but she couldn't miss meeting with Donnie as he promised to bring his new invention. Talena and her sister, Amoly were standing nearby the dojo, the training room of soldiers of the castle. They were training hard, then one of the kunai was thrown out of the room and was about to hit Amoly.

"Amy!"

Talena soon grabbed a broom and stopped kunai with it.

"Woah!!"

Amoly was impressed.

"Where did you learn that skill?"

Talena couldn't answer.

"Oh no. It's late already. I think you should go back."

"You're right. Ugh, why do we have such a big time difference?"

"Yes, that's annoying."

"Can I come tomorrow too?"

"Of course! I'll be always waiting for you."

Talena's smile made Donnie blush a little.

"Thanks. Then, see you later."

"Bye."

Before the portal closed completely, suddenly another turtle came in. It was the eldest sister, Larota. She froze seeing the portal and an unknown person who entered it.

"Lara?! This is...I can explain!"

But Larota soon started panicking.

"Aaaaah!! stranger!!!!!"

Donnie went out of the portal and closed it. He raised his face. And found his brothers looking at him with their arms crossed.

"I thought why you're so stuck in your lab. This is because of it!"

"Um...well..."

"What is this?!"

"And where have you been?"

The brothers plague him with questions.

Donnie gave up and told them everything. They were very surprised.

"Another turtle?!"

"Is that real?!"

"Can you take me to her?"

Mikey asked.

"Um..."

Donnie imagined how Mikey would flirt with Talena and made a face.

"Mikey, she is a princess. She can't put up with a too noisy person."

"I promise I'll stay quiet as a fish! Pleeeease, Donnie! I want a turtle friend too!"

The youngest brother implored with a puppy face. Leo and Raph also said they're interested in another world.

"*Sigh* Fine. I'll introduce you to her. But remember, be polite to her."

"Of course! Thank you, Donnie!"
