After Percy helped me out of the infirmary, he became my tour guide.
"Over there is the training area. Swords and armor are already supplied here. In the forests, we play capture the flag, where its fight till the "death."
Then he finally realized that in my shorts I had handmade sword holders.
"Guess you won't need a sword. Also, your only allowed to use one sword," he said looking at me, then the sword a couple of times.
"Who made that rule? I have been told that if I fight with one sword then I will be vulnerable," I say making a poker face.
"Then talk to Kirin. He's in charge at this camp. If it's even more serious, go to Mount Olympus and talk to Zeus."
"I think I'll talk to Kirin...later," I say looking around." Would you possibly know where I'm supposed to sleep"?
"Nope. That's what Kirin's here for, or at least one reason,"he says smirking.
I'm smiling too. What the heck am I doing? I must be out of my mind. I go back to a poker face. We finally end up at a wooden house that looks like the enchanted house from Sleeping Beauty. Percy walks into the house like he owns it.
"We're allowed to walk right in,"he says looking back towards me.
I walk through the door and find myself in a museum of the camp. We make a left and then a right. Through the many hallways, I have seen achievement papers, documents from the beginning of the camp, pictures of the gods and goddesses when they were young, etc. We then ended at a gold and silver crisscross designed door. Percy banged on it with his fists."Kamara, daughter of Z...," he screamed at the top of his lungs until he was interrupted by a door swinging open and a half horse, half human thing staring at us.
"Well well Percy, still didn't remember that I of all people can hear you the best...well actually maybe Kamara can hear better than me," he said with a smile.
"Me? I don't think so Kirin."
"Well, my dear, you were taught be Zeus so you should have an advantage over everyone here."
"You were brought up by a god,"? Percy asked dumbfounded.
"Yes,weren't you,"? I ask curiously.
"No, he wasn't Kamara. You are special. Like Percy. You have destinies that were planned for you, by past events. Percy's was to eliminate Kronos. Your's is more difficult to explain...," he said turning around and pacing his office.
"Come in you two," he said while scratching his beard.
"I don't know how to explain this without hurting your future," he said sadly.
"I wish there was another way."
There is Kirin. Kamara Selene Astra is not supposed to know her destiny yet. In time.
"Did you hear that,"I ask cautiously.
"Hear what,"Percy asks with curiosity.
"I just heard a women's voice. In my head."
"I would say normal, but it's not," Percy says.
"Usually, if you hear a voice it's your God or goddess parent. But you just heard a women's voice,so it can't be Zeus...which only means," he says trailing off.
"That you're a Goddess, because you have both a Goddess and God parent," Kirin says staring at me, with crisp blue eyes that stare into my soul.
"But that's impossible. Dad would have told me that I had powers,so that he could train me with my powers," I said exasperated.
"No,not necessarily. How old are you," Kirin asks.
"Sixteen...why,?" I ask curiously.
"Because only at the age of seventeen do you show signs of powers.""Which are what exactly,?" I ask anxiously.
"Headaches,blackouts,dreams..."
"Dreams?"
"You can dream about what power you have and then usually the next morning you have the power from your dream."
"If your a demigod, then you have the same power as your God or Goddess parent," says Percy a bit concerned.
"But if your a Goddess, your on your own. Usually, when one of their children start having powers they come to the camp to specially train their child. That's one out of the like one hundred times we see them yearly," he says laughing.
"Wait, then how am I going to learn how to use my power,?" I ask worriedly.
"Then your mother or father will come down to help you. They can't just leave you alone," Kirin says smiling.
That's what my mom did, I say to myself.
"Bye, thank you Kirin," I say as Percy and I leave the enchanted office of Kirin's.
