And so, Larry and his animals began to travel around the world, putting up the show. Rainbow Dash and applejack set up the lights while Rarity began to put on the stage. Fluttershy often took care of the animals while Pinkie started to add some party costumes. Twilight began to help Clifford by putting on a show and with that, the stage was done.

"Well, it looks like our work here is done," Larry announced. "Now I've got some tickets to sell, gang. We're gonna pack ''em in tonight."

As soon as night fell, the children started to gather around for the show. Shackleford peaked from the curtains wearing a purple cape.

On the backstage. Twilight seemed nervous. "I can't believe we're gonna perform in front of a bunch of people. Like the day I was ruled as Princess."

"It will be okay," Shining Armor assured her, "I'll watch you and make you're you'll do great."

Meanwhile, Pinkie was so excited for the show. "Isn't this exciting?"

"I think so," Fluttershy said. She was a little shy about going on stage. She did one time at the Hearth's Warming Eve show. She took a few deep breaths until she calmed down. "I'm okay now."

Shackleford began to check as soon as he hoped that this show will go well.

"Is it our turn yet?" Clifford asked him.

"No, no. You guys come in at the end." Shackleford reminded him just as he heard Larry preparing for the show. "That's my cue. You all just watch and learn."

And so, the ferret got to the top and grabbed on the trapeze swing with both hands. He took a few deep breaths and said, "Oh, please let this go well." Twilight and the others watched from behind.

"Do you think he'll make it?" Fluttershy asked.

"I don't know, Fluttershy." Applejack said, taking off her hat. "I just don't know."

"Oh, I can't watch," Rarity whimpered.

He braced himself and trapezoid his way and landed onto Dorothy. The crowd was amazed. Then he began to juggle three red bottles.

"All right, Dorothy, you're doing real good. Gravity is your friend." Shackleford told her.

But as soon as Dorothy tried to remain calm, a butterfly landed on her nose and she sneezed. To make matters worse, she looked down and panicked. Shackleford almost panicked, dropping the bottles. Rarity see her chance and used her magic to top the bottles from falling to the groudn that Shackleford had dropped.  He grabbed onto the trapeze swing and Dorothy grabbed a hold of him. They screamed as they swung from another swing Dorothy grabbed hold of the light. Rod and Dirk tried to help her but the wires holding the pole started to come loose along with the tents and the sign. Shning Amor Applejack, Pinkie and Rairty gasped in horror, thinking that it's not Larry tries to help but he activates Dirk's rocket boots. The animals were flung into the air and spun around out of control. Then they were flown right into there. Seeing them in trouble. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight and Clifford rushed in to help.

Shackleford managed to grab onto the wire while Dorothy, Dirk and Rod grabbed hold of each other, stretching the blue ferret. They suddenly let go and sent the ferret flying in the air. Fluttershy flew up toward the air and grabbed Rod just in time. Dorothy landed on Clifford's back and slid safely from below. Rainbow Dash managed to save Dirk as the rockets exploded. Twilight managed to catch Shackleford just in time as he fell and puts on onto the pole.

Everyone cheered at the sudden rescue of the red dog and the colorful ponies.

"Why, ladies and gentlemen, it's Big Red and the Ponies to the rescue," Larry announced.

From on top, Shackleford was shocked to see that the ponies and Clifford saved them. He folded his arms annoyed and groaned.

After a while, the group rested in the tent. They were so amazed by the pony's and Clifford's talents.

"That was, like, way rad, Big Red," Dirk grinned.

"That's our Clifford," Cleo smiled.

" Oh, you're my hero, Clifford. Thank you," Dorothy thanked him.

"Ah, thanks. I was just helping, that's all."

"Did you see what I did?" Rainbow Dash laughed. "I managed to save Dirk and we were flying in front of the people!"

"You're amazing, Twilly," Shining Amor replied, happily. "You managed to save the show."

"We sure did," Twilight said. "It's thanks to my friends."

Shackleford came in. "Hey, well done, Clifford, Twilight, my pals. That was one lucky break. We were all a tail wag away from disaster. Good stuff, good stuff. But let's not let that happen again, right, team? We can't depend on an accident to save the show." He turned his head to Dorothy. "So, Dorothy, Dorothy, Dorothy... You know you, my girl, right? And I know that soon you are going to really master this act that we've been over a hundred times. You just need to practice and not look down."

"Don't look down. Don't look down," she told herself. "Right, Shackleford."

Shackleford turned to Dirk. "And you, Dirk. Ever heard of too much of a good thing? Well, now you have. Gotta ease up on the throttle. Does that thing have a downshift?"

"Whoa. But, bro, I have a need for speed," Dirk replied.

Shackleford: You need not end up in the audience every show.

"What about me, Shackleford?" Rod asked. "How did I do?"

Shackleford turned to the chihuahua. "Ha ha! You, my little amigo, need to focus on keeping those weights up, up, up, instead of down, down, down. You almost flattened me like a tortilla."

"Shackleford?" Twilight asked. "Did we do okay?"

Shackleford took a look at the alicorn princess. "Okay? Yes, you did ok. We all did ok, but "ok" is not enough. "Ok" does not dazzle, "ok" does not delight, and "ok" does not-- I repeat-- does not win contests! We need to be–" He was interrupted when Larry opened up the door from his trailer.

"Fantastic! That was truly amazing. That was our best show ever," he smiled. "Big Red, Purple Winged Unicorn, you stole the show. If you guys keep up what you did out there tonight, we 'll be sure to make it into that contest. And thanks to Big Red, I bet we can win it." Twilight nodded and nuzzled him as Larry petted Shackleford, who didn't notice his grumpy look. "Thanks, pal. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have Big Red."

He began to leave to his trailer, leaving Shackleford alone with an annoyed glum look on the ferret's face.
