teeth grazing her skin
breathing the beauty
of her fawned eyes
and lustful sins.
these screams ignite
mocked importance
while your love for her
blossomed through night.
refusal to compete anymore
no longer your first choice.
holding arrant blindness
to a love that is now our chore.
choking on that picture i so grieve
fancying your poetic tongue.
you implied i was unprecedented
should never have been so naive.
my sweet darling
if i am insufficient
you're not worth my time
no matter how hard i've been falling.
