y/n pov

i never thought much of ayden. I'd see him in the halls goofing off with his friends. he was one of the only boys in year 11 that wasn't a total dickhead. the only things i knew about him was that he was gay, and that he was outed before more people started being friends with him.

me and him being the only out gay people in our school made people try and get us together, i didn't have a problem with it. for me, it was obvious multiple people here were gay, they just weren't out because of the amount of homophobia in a highschool.

everyday at lunch he'd set his jacket and headphones on the bench opposite from me. look at me and occasionally wave before going to talk and walk around the bottom floor of the school until the bell rang.

i mean i did think he was kinda cute, but that was ALL.

he had curly golden blonde hair that almost glowed in the sun, ocean blue eyes that sometimes looked like waves were crashing if you looked closely, he was 5'4, i guess you'd say it was average. I was 5'6.

ayden was friends with half the school, seeing him around kids like preston, logen, and dustin. maybe even carsen and lily sometimes, but of course im naming the bad people. by bad people i mean troublemakers.

his normal friends consist of chloe, sarah and shawn. sometimes i'd see christopher and taylor.
