CRAIG'S P.O.V
"Hello. Craig," some random girl waved to me. I nodded my head and the girl almost fainted. I hated this life. I hated being popular and everybody knowing my name. Too much. I shifted my back pack to my left shoulder as I put in the combination to my locker.
"Ayo, Prod!" I heard Ray yell, slapping me on the back. We call each other by our group names so when we make it big time we would already be used to calling each other by that instead of slipping up and calling each other by our real names.
"Hey Ray," I said giving him some dap. He slipped a piece of gum in his mouth and we started our walk to class. By the time we got to our class, we were greeted by Chresanto, aka Roc, and Jacob, aka Princeton.
"Aye, come on. Y'all have to see this shit!" Prince said grabbing my arm. It had to be something good if he's cursing.
We all ran to where Prince was taking me and came to a complete hault. Everyone exept for Prince-he kept running until he was huddled around with the other kids. The rest of us couldn't see what was going on.
"Oh shit! They're fighting!" Ray said speeding off with Roc behind him. I never got to ask who was fighting.
"Yeah, say that again fatass and I'll whoop your ass worst!" I heard a familiar voice yell. All of the rest of the kids started laughing and taking pics of the scene. I still didn't know what was going on.
Then I saw the girl that got whooped. She was big-very big. But she was also beautiful. He long, jet black hair completed her soft, light skin. Whenever she cried, I could see her dimples appear. She was like a beautiful big Goddess. And I hated to see her hurt. But before I could help her, another jumped on her and started to hit and punch her. It was the random girl that spoke to me earlier. I got angry and made my way through the crowd.
"Stop!" I yelled. "I said stop!" I pushed the girl off of the other one.
"Main, Craig. Why you always gotta mess up the fun?" She asked.
"If beating up a person is fun to you then you're gonna have a hard life." I said giving her one of her books. "You can leave now." I spoke to the girl but everybody else started to leave to.
"Oh, don't worry Jessica. It's not over. He won't always be around." She stated before walking off. The only good thing that came from that sentence is the fact that I learned the girl's name.
"You okay?" I asked Jessica, offering my hand. She shook her head no and wiped away a tear. "You don't want any help?" She shook her head again. "Please, I'm not gonna hurt you. You can trust me." She then looked up at me, her hazel eyes letting out a tear. She then took my hand.
Touching her hand was the most momental thing that ever happened to me. The softness of her touch. The way she blushed when her hand reached mine. It made my heart beat and warm up. It was like love and first sight. It was then when I made a promise to myself to NEVER let this girl out of my sight and to be her personal protector. Never again will she have to deal with being bullied.
I helped her up and gave her her books. She smiled at me weakly. "W-why did you help me? You must want something? If you do I'll make it easier for you. The bathroom is empty this period." She looked nervous and scared.
"What? No. Noooo, I don't want you." She looked at me with disgust and began to cry and walk away. "No. Not in that kind of way. I meant, I don't want want you--like sexually. I don't do that."
"Then why did you help me?" She asked lowly.
"Because you were hurt. Nobody deserves to be fought against their will. You need help."
She smiled weakly and looked around.
"You going to class?" She nodded. "Can I walk you to it?" She looked up at me trying to see was I serious. "You know, you're not gonna get any friends with that attitude. Sooo, do you want to go to class?" She paused for a second, thinking of an answer, and shook her head no. "Well, come on. I have this place that we can go." I grab her hand and she snatched it back. "Listen, I'm not gonna hurt you. Can you atleast relax?" She paused again and then slowly took my head. I smiled widely as we walked out of the school building.
This is gonna be one heck of a day.
