On the bookcase were crime novels by Dame Agatha Christie, and James Patterson. A Non-Fiction book by Truman Capote. His blue eyes focused on the door---as if someone was watching him. Edward was irritated. The score was 13-5. The Giants were losing. He saw the window was open.
It wasn't before.
Edward looked out of the window.
A shadow hovered above his face.
