Chapter 3

We stayed that way for what seemed like eternity, until my brain finally put the pieces together just enough to realize that he might try to take me from my pack. Then I bolted, I ran through the woods as fast as I possibly could, the sound of him trying to come after me bringing up memories from that night which only made me run faster to get to my destination. After a while, I don't hear anything, which makes me happy because not only am I where I wanted to be, but he lost me further back. As I look up, I quickly gasp. This place hasn't ever failed to make me forget everything and just live the times I'm here, 'It certainly didn't fail me now', I thought, 'and it probably never will.' I quickly sit down on a smooth- topped boulder as I watch the gentle breeze sway the flowers back and forth as it swirls throughout the valley, making it even more calming then it was before. I found this place a few months after I had to take over the pack as Alpha. I was walking on a mindless trip through the woods around this place after the all the pack work had become too handle that day, when I smelt the beautiful wild fowers and fallowed the scent. Then here I was, in my own personal heaven. As I left my mind, I looked down at my phone to check the time. 3:12 pm. I groaned as I got up to leave knowing that if my mate was as stubborn as me, there was no way whatsoever that he wouldn't be waiting for me beside my car. I took my time walking back, so much that if you saw me would think that I was just coming back from a nice, Friday hike, absolutely dreading the confrontation with my mate when I got back. I got there to see that I was right about what I thought he was going to do. Our two cars were the only two left in the parking lot. I was looking to see if I could find him when my gaze stopped on my tall, blonde headed, blue eyed mate leaning up against my car. Our eyes met, 'Yep, he's most definitely here.' , and boy did he looked pissed.

A/N- Yes, I do know that the updates that I have been uploading are not on the 'Monday & Friday Update Schedule' that I may or may not have talked about in the previous A/N's that I've made, it's just that I thought y'all might needed more to go on after the cliffhanger on the last chapter. That and not only am I FINALLY out of school for the summer, but it's the day before my birthday so think of it as a 'Summer Celebration/Early Birthday Gift' from me to you. Also please do NOT hold me to this, but if I have enough time tomorrow I'm hoping I can update this again tomorrow.
