"Hello Ms. Carpenter. Your father would like to speak to you in his office. " My father's secretary informed me as I got off the elevator.
" Did I do something?" I asked.
" He didn't seem upset at all." Her English accent very thick.
" Thanks." I smiled before turning the corner to my father's office.
My father's father was the owner of every hotel on the East coast. He retired 12 years ago leaving his son , my dad, everything.
I knocked softly on the door . " Come in. " His deep, gruff voice yelled.
" Hey dad." I said walking in and taking a seat in one of the chairs.
" Hey Angel." He smiled. " How was L.A.? "
" Great. Everyone there was amazing." I answered .
" Great, great. I have a surprise for you." He pulled out a huge poster from behind his desk. It was a picture of a building.
" What's this?" I was so confused.
" Remember when you said you wanted a place by the beach to paint the ocean? Well here it is. It's like a little house for you." He was really excited. I see in his eyes.
" OMG really thank you so much dad. This is legit awesome. " I squealed in delight.
" It already has all the art supplies stocked in a room. It has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A kitchen and a living room. Also, a library on the top floor stocked with book I think you'll like. " He was printing out all these places on the poster.
" Why two bedrooms?" I asked.
" Well...." He scratched his neck.
All of a sudden the door opened and in walked a guy. His hair was black, long , almost mid back. His eyes were a dark brown almost black. His jawline was beautiful. He was tall and very muscular and he had a sleeve tattoo going on almost forever. I could tell he was trouble, but yet I fell almost pulled to him.
" Meet Adrian, he' s your new roommate. " My dad said finally.
