(This one takes place before Freddy asked you out!)

"Y/n?" Freddy asks
It was currently close to closing time and you were with him in his room before you went home
"Yes?"
"How do you know if you're in love?"
Your eyes slightly widen
"Uh. Well I guess it depends on what you feel when you're around said person"
Freddy takes a second to think
"Well... I feel happy, nervous, and invigorated when I'm around you- Them..." Freddy cuts himself off
"Hmm... Then it sounds like you might be! Who is it?" You get up in his face
Freddy blushes as you get up close and personal
"I-I can't say..."
You slightly frown
"Aw! Cmon! You can trust me!"
Freddy shakes his head
"Alright... You don't have to tell me!"
"But I'll always be here if you need advice!" You hug him
"T-Thanks..." He hugs back
Pulling away, you ask
"Can I at least try to guess?"
Freddy hesitantly nods, thinking you won't guess correctly
"Is it Chica?"
"No."
"Is it Roxy?"
"Um... I'm not into..." Freddy trails off while fidgeting with his hands
Realizing what he means, that only leaves you with one option
"Oh! Then is it... Monty?"
Freddy quickly shakes his head
"Can you at least give me a hint?"
"Well... He has E/C eyes, He's been extremely nice to me, and he overall just makes my day a thousand times better..." Freddy sighs dreamily
'D-Did I say too much?' Freddy thinks to himself nervously, realizing he may have just exposed himself
"Hmm... Nothing's ringing a bell! I give up!" You say in a defeated tone
Freddy sighs out in relief over you not getting it
"That's a shame... Maybe one day I'll tell you who it is..." He gives you a warm smile
"One thing's for sure. Whoever it is, is a VERY lucky person!"
"R-Really?" Freddy asks
"Are you kidding me?! You're nice, You're strong, and You're very considerate!" You praise him while slightly blushing
Freddy's blush turns darker with each compliment you give him
"T-Thank you..." Resisting the urge to kiss you, he instead ops in for a hug
"Anytime!" You hug back
Freddy's feelings for you only grow stronger after this interaction
"Ah shoot! I gotta go! It's almost dinner time!" You look down at your phone
"Already?" Freddy gives you a sad look
"Yeah sorry! I'll be back sometime soon!"
Freddy gives you one last hug before you leave
"Bye!" You wave to him while leaving
"Goodbye. I love you..." Freddy whispers the last part
"What was that?" You stop and turn around
Freddy stiffens
"N-Nothing!" He smiles nervously
You just shrug and continue walking
The second you're gone, Freddy lies down on his couch
'I'll tell him sometime soon...' He thinks to himself and smiles before falling asleep...
