Part 4

You couldn't help but smile when you were walking down the hill, you felt accomplished your first day at school went by fast but it was nice, you had made a few new friends and even managed to have a few weapon designs of yours looked at even if you didn't manage to have them made you feel accomplished. That smile soon faded once you remembered that you had to work today.

"Damn it." you groaned as you picked up your pace down the hill jumping to avoid roots coming out of the dirt. once you made it down the mountain you started speed walking home as fast as you could. 

*karma pov*

As I was walking home I was thinking about all the pranks I could pull on y/n "Ohh ~ this is gonna be good~" I whispered to myself while laughing somewhat maniacally

Once I got home I set my stuff down looking around to see no one home "Tsk of course" I said walking up the stairs to my room flopping onto the bed grabbing a few study books.

*your pov*

I unlocked the door exhausted from basically running home, I set my stuff down and shut the door, I sighed knowing I had to go pick up Ember before I went to work. I checked my phone "20 minutes to rest" I mumbled to myself as I walked to the couch.

you sat down and grabbed the remote to turn the tv on, once it was, you laid down and relaxed for a couple of minutes before turning it off and walking out the door, then quickly turned back to get your purse. As you were walking down the street you noticed a sale on phones Huh ember might need a phone now that I'm busy with school and work you pulled out your phone and checked if you had time.

you walked out of the store with the little box in your hand smiling almost forgetting you had to pick Ember up from preschool. Crap you put the box in your purse that you almost forgot to bring and started speed walking to go pick up Ember

Once you got there, you saw Ember standing with Mr.Matsukata "MOMMY!" he says while jumping up and down, you smile at him then thank Mr.Matsukata for waiting, you took his hand and started walking home "So what did you do today?" you ask him.

You both stop on the sidewalk and he gets in front of you, energy radiating off of him as he tells you all about the things he did at his preschool "Wow that's great buddy why don't you tell me the rest while were walking home I have work today and a surprise for you" you say while holding your hand out for him to hold, he grabs it and you both start waking

*at home*

I unlocked the door and held it open for Ember to go in, he took his shoes off then went to his room to put his stuff away then quickly came back to the living room "So what's the surprise!" you chuckle then reach for your purse

You pull out the phone box and hand it to him "What's this" he says while tilting his head, you pat the seat next to you on the couch and he sits next to you "You know how I'm going to school now, and I have to work to provide for us, so I got you this phone"

He opens the box and looks at it "Ooo~ this is cool, how does it work?" You chuckle then grab the phone from him "Don't worry I'll set your phone up before I head to work. and you've played on my phone before it's basically the same. but I got you this phone case" You put the case on the phone and hand it back to him

He takes it and stares at it with a smile "ok Mommy thank you" he gave you a hug which you gladly returned "ok Mommy has to get ready for work I'll get your phone set up when I'm done" He nods and you get up to change

*After getting dressed*

You fix the sleeve of your uniform and walk into the living room where Ember is doing a bit of work his teacher assigned him on the coffee table "ok ember where's your phone Im gonna set it up before I leave" he points to the couch still working

I leaned over the couch and grabbed the box his new phone was in and start setting it up."ok I put my phone number on here and added a couple of games for you"you say while walking around to sit in there the couch"come here I'll show you how to work your phone, it should be easy since you've used mine before"

"Ok, I'll see you after work, dinner is in the fridge" You leaned down to kiss him on his forehead "ok Mommy" you smile then wave before heading out the door, you felt bad you had to raise him to be independent at such a young age but there wasn't much you could do."Hey, F/n!" Isogai said as you entered the restaurant.

Ahhh this took longer than I wanted. Art credits me and a bit of Google as my reference, I might take a bit of a hiatus to work on school and make more parts or I might get rid of the upload schedule I have and just post things. so I might post on time but I think I'm going to just post when I can when I have them. also, a fun fact out of the fanfic's I've read Karma lives in a mansion but in the festival episode he does not, it's a random fact but It just came to mind anyways have a good day/night -RL
