CHAPTER 1

"Kuya, I want to fly like a butterfly." She pleaded, but her brother just laughed.

He couldn't imagine that his sister wanted to fly like a butterfly. He left her, then he put his hands on her back so that his sister wouldn't fall.

“Why do you want to fly?”. He seriously asked.

He really doesn't have any idea what's on his sister's mind.

“ I want to experience flying kuya because someday if I die, I will be part of a butterfly, it means I'm going to be a butterfly too”. She explained without lieng.

Every word that came into his little sister's mouth was full of sincerity. He can't blame himself that someday he might lose his sister.

Tasha has cancer stage 2. When she was 4 years old, her family noticed that their daughter experienced being bald but they ignored this kind of stuff. After a few years, Tasha now belongs to a cancer patient.

Her family can't accept that their precious Tasha has stage 2 cancer.

“Hey baby don't say that, you are staying here for a long time together with us”. Her kuya Shawn explained. “So stop saying nonsense Tasha. You make me cry baby”.

“ Sorry kuya , i won't hurt your feelings anymore, but you have to promise me that you won't cry when I die”. She apologized and bowed her head.

“Shhh forget it baby”. Her kuya Shawn said.

She's turning 9 years old next month and one of her dreams is to recover and be a cancer survivor, but how... How can she survive if sometimes she can't handle the pain?

Chapter 1

Tasha POV.............

Today is my day to go to the hospital for a check-up but I'm not ready yet 'cause I will feel the pain again. I don't want that pain , I want a simple life like the other kids who play anytime they want.

“ Tasha, are you done? We are going to the hospital baby”. My kuya Shawn asked.

“Yes I'm done kuya”. I replied to him.

He opened the door and then I saw he had a backpack in his hand. It's my clothes and my other stuff.

We're going stay in the hospital for one day to that's why he brings my other stuff and clothes. His serious face made me realize that my kuya wanted me to live in the world for a long time.

He's my comforter , my angel, and the most is my— my medicine”.

He smile at me.

“Lets go”. He held my hands.

“ I will feel the pain again”. I murmured, but suddenly he heard me.

“ Don't mind the pain baby , it's natural ”. He said while he helped me to step on the ladder.

“Thank you”.

“It's my pleasure madam”. He said .

“Silly kuya”, I laughed at him.

He poked my cheeks and held my hands. I don't know how long I can live in this world.
