Chapter 1

Another typical day for school, and work. I am Cassius Berlington, the student council president of Guanovch University. The most prestigious university in the country.

"Good morning Mr. president!!"

Greetings from everyone who came across me.

I was on my way to the principal's office to take care of my sister's admission, since I am the only one left to be her guardian. My father and mother were always on a business trip abroad and rarely came home here in the Philippines.

"Good morning, Ms. Principal."

I greeted the principal and sat across the table facing a beautiful lady in front.

"So Mr. Berlington, her grade isn't a problem but this remarks by the guidance adviser is our problem here"

As the principal explains everything, I take a glance at my sister who's chewing bubblegum and staring at her nails like there are no problems.

"Please! Ms. Principal, can you make an exception for this case? I'll keep an eye on her and take responsibility for her actions. I will put my position as student council president on line for this. Just admit her here please."

After the meeting, I gave her a tour on the campus and talk about her behavior.

"You heard the principal right? You need to behave properly. My position is on the line too, so expect that I always got an eye on you."

"Tsk! Fine" she answered

After lecturing her I brought her to the cafeteria and treated her for being admitted as a Freshmen student. After a brief celebration I took my leave for a student council meeting.

YLANNA'S POV

I pouted when my Brother left me alone here at the University garden. He just admitted me here today and to my surprise it was my first day of school as a college student

I thought my classes would start next week not now what the fuck!

I sat down on the bench to glance around the ground. There are a lot of students who have their own circles.

How come they had a circle of friends on the first day of class? Are they all feeling close? Duh!

"Hi" I flinched on my chair when someone sat beside me

"Who are you to sit beside me? Do I allow you?" I said with my right brow raising

"No? Why? You own this bench? I can't see any name of you here"

He says teasing me

"You know what? You're making me inis na! Can you please go? Go away shoo!"

He just chuckled then taps my shoulder before leaving me behind

I rolled my eyes as he walks away from me then tap my own shoulder to clean on where he taps

How dare he touch me like that, are we even close? Tsk! Idiot

Because I was pissed. I stand up and went straight to my classroom even if i know it's still early

I thought i was the first one on our classroom but i was wrong.. there are a lots of student inside our classroom who are talking with each other

"Hiiii Good morning Classmate" someone greeted me

I just smiled at her before sitting in front

Why would I sit at the back? I wouldn't learn something if I'm at the back

"Uy uy! Nakita niyo yung Ssg President kanina? Gagi ang gwapo achkkk!"

My right eyebrow raised as I've heard about my kuya

I leaned at the back of my chair to hear about their gossips and to my surprise, all of them had a crush on him

I shakes my head while laughing onto my mind

Poor ladies, they don't even know that my brother was a gay

"I wonder what my brother doing right now" I talked to myself

CASSIUS POV

After I left Ylanna at the garden, I went to the SSG office to talk about the current situations of some students who kept failing their subjects.

What do these kids do to fail these simple exams?

Belittling the test papers of the students who took remedial exams not long ago.

"Will you look for this student? Report me his family situation and what he is doing to drop this exam. This is his first time."

This is too much work. We need to post the ranking by the day after tomorrow and yet this many failures. The Principal will scold me if we don't fix this on time. We can't lose this many students.

"Guys make an appointment for all this failures. We'll fix this the old school way."

I Dismissed the meeting after I leave my task for each of the officer. And meet every subject teacher of the failure students to talk about the remedy for them to get the passing grade atleast.

Two hours later, I tried to check on my sister if she was doing ok on her first day.

'Hey sis, how have you been?' texted her.

'too boring:<' she replied

'Where are you at? Are all your classes done? I'm going back to my condo. Wanna come?' I texted back and went to where I left her.

'I'm at the bathroom, my uniform was ruined by my girl classmate' she then replied again

'What happened? Did you get in trouble on your first day? I'm on my way to get you. stay put!' replied as I quickly ran to the restroom.

I was looking at my phone when Ylanna doesn't text me back. I'm standing outside the women's restroom waiting for her to come out.

'where you at? I'm waiting outside the restroom.' texted her after ten minutes of waiting outside the restroom.

Female students are starting to crowd up on the hallway towards the restroom. Gossiping and laughing, some are smiling on me and some greets me.

Ylanna open the door a little bit just to show me her face who look so scared

"Do you have any extra uniform blouses there? M-my uniform has something on its back.."

She says whispering like a baby

I Look at her with a worried expression and give her the coat I'm wearing.

"Wait here I'll get you clothes."

Pick out my phone and dial someone to order a new set of clothes for her to wear. After a couple minutes I picked up the blouse outside and headed directly to where she is to give her the new set of uniform.

"Come to my office, you can rest there. And I need details for who did this. They need to be punished."

State it with a conviction tone as I kissed her forehead and escorted her to my office.

YLANNA'S POV

I was pouting the whole time while walking towards my brother's office thinking twice if i should tell him who did those badass drawings on my uniform

Should I tell him? Or nah? Ahhh whatever.. he will forget about it anyways

"I think I'm okay now, Can I go back to my room? I can manage to rest there naman ih"

"No!" He replied quickly.

"Pero kuya I'm okay na, promise! I swear I'm really okay na." I stated while raising my right hand to show how sincere I am
