Solar POV
A few minutes later, Hyejin came back towards Me with Irene.
" I found this in her pocket," Irene said, passing me a clear plastic police bag with a rather dirty envelope inside it. I took the bag and held it carefully so that she could look inside the envelope. It was empty. On the back of the envelope there were a few words: eggs, bread, milk, matches. Someone's shopping list. On the front was the name Park Jiwon nut no address.
" You haven't had time to read Song Daejin's police record," Hyejin said. " But the name Park Jiwon is in it. She's not one of his favorite people."
I gave the bag and the envelope back to Irene. " Irene, could you give this to the scientist," I said. " I want to know if there are any fingerprints on it." " And I want to know if they can tell me anything about the handwriting." I said and turned to Hyejin.
" well, " I said. " it looks as if Daejin may be dangerous. You'd better tell me what you know about him."
" We were lucky to catch Daejin for Han Jaejong's murder," Hyejin said, as We walked down the hill towards her car.
" Did you work on the case? I asked Hyejin. " Yes, but before you ask, I didn't speak to Park Jiwon then and I don't know if that's her up there," Hyejin said annoyingly, pointing back up the hillside with her thumb."
" At first we didn't have any idea at all Who'd killed Mr Han. Then someone rang the phone at the station, didn't leave the name, but said we should search Mr Song Daejin's flat." Hyejin said again.
" And what was there?" I asked. " There was a gun in a metal box in his kitchen. It was the gun which had killed Mr Han. Daejin's fingerprints were all over the box." Hyejin answered.
" What about the gun? I asked again. " None, No fingerprints on the gun," Hyejin said again.
" He'd probably cleaned it. Anyway, they were still questioning him when This Park Jiwon came into the police station. I wasn't there at that time. She said she'd seen Mr Song and Mr Han drinking together and shouting at each other on the night that Mr Han died. The two of them had been in that pub at the end of Ahnyang street, the bit far from here. "
"What did Mr Song have to say? I asked. " Well, he said the box was his but he'd never seen the gun. He also said he'd never been in Ahnyang in his life. He said he didn't know Mr Han very ell at all so why would he kill him?" Hyejin answered.
" But you were sure you had the right person," I asked. " Oh, yes," Hyejin said. " Song Daejin had been in the trouble quite a few times. He'd been to prison twice: once for stealing cars and once for fighting in a pub. He broke someone's arm."
" That doesn't make him a murderer," I said. " True," Hyejin said ," but you wouldn't be surprised if he was." " what about Mr Han?" I asked again.
" A small-time criminal, too. He'd never been to prison but that was just good luck. He got into fights; he sold stolen things like CDs, yes, that." Hyejin answered.
" Nice people," I said.
At 6pm, back to Central Police Station, I sent Hyejin to find out the latest news about Song Daejin and the Dark blue Audi. At last I had time to change out of her clothes, she wore her sweat pant and of curse Byul's sweater. She missed her hamster so much, so she just grabbed out Byul's clothes of her habits. I changed to grey trouser suit that showed off my collarbone and along with my favorited dark black long jacket. The Jacket that I always kept in my office.
I felt more like working now if I wore smart clothes. I always looked for appearance. I looked my face in the mirror, touched my made up a bit. I had a light long pink hair and dark brown eyes, but I thought my chubby check was rather chubby, but I don't care my hamster like my chubby cheeks. she said rather than a V line face, she the chubby cheeks more.. So as long as my girlfriend love me, it's beyond fine...
