My target doesn't usually hang around where birds are extremely common. Why my agency decided to send me, "the Bird Watcher", on this particular mission baffles me. I have my book of codes on me, a regular bird guide to the untrained, which makes me look like a nutcase everywhere my target heads.
They only ever go into the city. That's not the place to see birds, especially not the ones we need for these stupid codes. Shouting out mountain bluebird, whenever my target moves on to another sector of the city, gets me a lot of dirty looks. The more years I work here the more ridiculous the mission and the worse my disguises get.
