"I love your fingers."

"You do?"

"They remind me of someone I once knew."

"Who?"

"His name was Joseph."

"Joseph?"

"Yes, I can see him, standing in the crowd."

"But Daisy, there isn't anyone around."

"I don't care, I still remember him."

"Cool, who was he?"

"He was incredible."

"He was?"

"Yes, he was my Joseph."

"Yours?"

"Exactly, I loved him."

"Like you love me?"

"Of course, you have the same fingers."

"Fingers?"

"Yes, the fingers he once caressed my cheek with, stole my heart with."

"You still love him, don't you."

"Baby, I'm afraid I do."

"Get him back them, go on. We'll end on good terms."

"Well, you see, I can't do that."

"Why?"

"Coz Joseph isn't ever coming back."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my little poem I wrote in English today, I know it's a bit weird and a bit random but it just popped into my mind.

Then I realised it rhymed.

So I decided to post it on here! It's not part of a story, and it won't become one, it's just something I thought was quite unique.

When I first read it through I thought it was a bit freaky? Quite haunting?

Well, what do you think?

Poetry comes quite easily to me, this is just a little experiment to see how people react :)

I hope you liked it.

Love, Jordan x
