"Too damn loud.." a females voice murmured before shuffling bedsheets were rustling and footsteps walking to the bathroom, and the shower was turned on.
She stepped in with a sigh as she cleaned herself before she the familiar sound of her phone as she stepped out grabbing a towel as she picked up her phone as she reached down to throw her clothes in the hamper
"Whats wrong?" She asked sitting on her bed
"Sorry girl, I'aint mean to call you so early, my nephew caught a cold and his momma ran off to god knows where" Deja sighed on the other side of the phone
"Its cool girl, it ain't like you did sum' wrong." Kehlani said turning her phone on speaker
"I won't stunt to you ima call her cuz I can't keep doing this shit, anyways. I need you to cover me for the week, " Deja says
Kehlani paused before answering
"Sure
I guess, it ain't like you got the bug girl wit lice" she chuckled
"Oh hell nah, I would've been gagging so hard" she cringed
"Love you boo, I gotta go," Kehlani said
"Love" they both said before hanging up as Kehlani got dressed, putting her socks on walking to the kitchen
She made herself a smoothie before getting into her car driving to the barber shop

She waited getting the shop prepped before reading the appointment the person made
"Have the shop empty...500 dollar cut..." Kehlani read the message to herself
"500 DOLLAR CUT?" She realized "damn, he got big money, huh? " she said with a sighs surprised
Before she heard the doorbell ring as the door opened
"Is Ms. Jackson here?.."
