They started dancing.
Emma knew that Austin was not far from them, she had this urge to see if he was still looking at them.
"I haven't seen you for a long time, is the rumor true?"
"What rumor?" Emma was not interested in talking about her past, but she was stuck with Sebastian.
"That your ex cheated and you went to another country."
"Well, I'm with my sister actually." She lied.
"But of course it's true that my ex cheated on me." He tsked.
"Such a waste." He whispered but Emma didn't say anything about it, she acted like she didn't hear it.
"Change partner!" The dj shouted.
Without she realize it, she spinned and landed on someone chest.
"Had a great time?" Emma immediately looked up.
There he was.
In front of her.
Emma turned to search for his girlfriend who ended up dancing with Sebastian.
"Be careful around Sebastian, he's a player. Expert at having you part your legs for him."
There she watched as her girlfriend laughed at everything Sebastian was telling her.
Emma gulped before looking back at him. He was already watching her.
Emma was completely mesmerized by how long his eyelash, his sharp nose and his red lip. She was completely staring at his lip, when suddenly he pushed her head to rest her right side face on his chest.
"Enjoy the dance." That's when she finally realized his hand holding each side of her waist
"Did you design this dress?"
"Yea" she replied.
"Designing really runs down to you."
"Well, I've watched my father working since I was small, I saw his passion, I matched his passion now."
"What about being a Miss Universe?" He suddenly asked which make Emma to raised her head and stared at him with a furrowed eyebrows.
"That was a long time ago, there will always be a new Miss Universe every year. What about it?"
"Just asking."
"I was just trying to show the whole world my father design, that's all. Did you follow up my journey?"
"Just heard about it."
"Oh." She replied. Somehow his answer sound half the truth.
He pushed her head back to rest on her chest.
"This is way to intimate." She whispered.
"Depends on your perception actually."
"What about your girlfriend?" She suddenly remembered the glare she received from his girlfriend.
"What about her?"
"Wouldn't she get angry?" He laughed a little.
"You're asking like we're about to do something nasty." She slapped his chest.
"I didn't mean that way." Emma can feel them turning around that's when she saw his girlfriend enjoying her time with Sebastian as she whispered something to Sebastian's ear before giggling.
Emma wanted to look at Austin face but he stopped her.
Slowly turning other place.
"He's an expert. That's all." He said without hiding it, that he know what his girlfriend is doing.
"Are you not mad at me anymore?" Emma whispered.
"Who said I'm not mad. You little missy need to fix yourself." He said before walking away as the song ended.
She gasped. She's not even little, just a few inches shorter than him.
She went to grab some food and sat where table was provided.
"Hey." It was Sebastian again.
"Hi." She was mad at what Austin said about her, she didn't stop Sebastian from approaching her.
Her eyes sneak around her surroundings and there he was glancing at her and Sebastian but she choose to ignore him.
She laughed everytime Sebastian teased her.
It's true what Austin warned her about Sebastian.
An expert.
She said her last phone number before Sebastian save it.
"Do you mind if we go out a little?" Sebastian asked politely.
"Yeah, sure. It's kinda loud here." She was about to walk with Sebastian when suddenly Mrs Hiddleston stopped her.
"Yes, Mrs. Hiddleston?"
"I was wondering if you can accompany me at the table. My husband is busy with his friends." Mrs. Hiddleston said.
She wanted to say Austin's name, but she didn't.
"Yeah, sure." Emma turned to look at Sebastian.
"I'm sorry, I can't Sebastian."
"It's okay." Sebastian said with a smiled but he obviously had a disappointed expression.
Emma and Mrs Hiddleston walked to the table then chatted the whole time of the event.
Soon, Austin and her girlfriend joined.
"I designed this dress a few weeks ago."
"It's so pretty. You really did follow your father footsteps."
"He's an inspiration." Emma said with an adoration.
Emma glanced at Austin's girlfriend whispering something to him before walking away.
"She went to where?" Austin's mother asked.
"Toilet."
Her mother looked at Emma.
"Maybe you can sometimes design for me?" She then laughed.
"Sure, I'd love too." She gets excited when people look for her to design their clothes.
"You know, you can still come to our house. Merissa probably miss you a lot." Mrs. Hiddleston suggested.
"I'm not sure if I can pay a visit to your house for this few months."
It's not like she didn't want to visit Merissa, but she don't want people to see her tattoo.
"Tsk, you sure do are a busy person." Austin said.
Emma remember Claire said this words about Austin and now she received the karma.
She wanted to shout at him back but chooses to stay polite.
"I will come but not in this few months. I just got back from my sister company, so I need to catch up a little on my father's company."
"I heard that company is under you, why do you need to catch up again? Are you slacking with your own company and let your father work."
At this point, Emma had her finger pointed at his chest.
"Listen, Mr. Know it all. This is my life not yours."
Then, he smirked before he signalled beside her.
She turned to see Mrs. Hiddleston already smiling at the both of them.
"Oh no, I'm sorry Mrs. Hiddleston" Emma apologized for her attitude.
"It's okay. My son deserved it." Mrs. Hiddleston laughed.
She panicked before excusing herself to take a dessert.
