"I found comfort in your words"
Is what Katsuki would write down in his notebook whenever he finished reading a poem or a book, his safe space was drowning himself in words. For every poem or book he read, there was something he'd pick out and long for in people, but would fail miserably.
The blonde male collected his belongings and left for the train station since he didn't want to reach work late, work normally started at 8am but it was 6am. He enjoyed the quiet of the store for those 2 hours because he could read or even meditate for some time and he wouldn't be bothered by the noise of those around him everyday for 6 hours. He would also be able to make something he would take home that evening.
At 7:45am his fellow workers started coming in like a swam of bees. They'd all say hi as they always do because at this point it was formality, Katsuki comes early and everyone else arrives 1 hour and 45 minutes later. "What are you reading now?" the only person he holds long conversations with asked while putting on his apron. "Murder Mystery, trying it out. Book name is kiss the girls by James Patterson. It's very interesting so far," Katsuki replied and the other male nodded. Doors opened, windows opened and the cool air coming in, what more could you ask for?

The most dreadful hour of the day, lunch hour. People come in at every second no one catches a break, Katsuki finds it annoying but also interesting because of one particular customer. He always has the same order every single day Katsuki basically has it sealed into his brain. "Hello, Shoto!" one of the waitresses said with a smile on her face and handed over his cold soba. He thanked her politely, paid his bill and just left. Katsuki stared at the dual haired male as he walked away, he could write a thousand poems, and all of them would be about him, and he barely knew the male except for his name and favourite meal.
"I'm 100% sure he looked at me!!" Shoto said to his friends as they were eating. "Was it as you ordered?" Ochako asked and the male just rolled his eyes in frustration. Imagine liking a guy and not even knowing his name? That's exactly what he was going through right now. Every single time he entered through that restaurant door he hoped to be served by the blonde but it just never happened. It made him sad most of the time especially since his best friend held multiple conversations with him but he'd stay as far away as possible to avoid any eye contact.
"For I crave the smell of your body next to mine."
