Daniels PoV
I woke up to my phone blasting 'chains' by Nick Jonas. I groaned while rubbing my eyes, I yawned and rolled off my bed. I raised my hand to where my phone was on my cabinet beside my bed, I moved my hand about trying to find it. Suddenly I felt something hard smack the back off my head, I checked it and I realised I knocked my phone off. That was surprisingly very sore. I groaned and stood up and went and got changed for my second day of school.
I walked into the building and I saw Emma. My smile instantly turned upside down when I saw her. She was crying in between the gap between the lockers. She was curled up in a ball. I ran over to her, I sat beside her. "Emma, what's wrong ? Who hurt you ?!" She looked up at me and put on a fake smile. "Nothing's wrong, I'm just tired. That's all,no need to worry" she put her head back down to her knees. "So what's the truth ?" She started crying. I wrapped my arm round her and held her tight. "What's wrong ?" She looked at me, I wiped her tears away. "It's just some family problems, no biggie" she shrugged. "No biggie ?! Your siting in between lockers crying your heart out ! " She got up and started to walk away. I instantly stood up and went after her. "Look, I'm sorry for shouting. I just don't want to see you like this." She turned round and ran to me with her arms open. She ran into mine and she gave me the best hug I've ever had. "It's not your fault" she said. We both let each other go. "What happened ? You don't need to answer If you don't wa-" "I will but you must promise not to tell anyone or do anything about it, deal ?" "Fine, deal " I responded. "My step mom has started to abuse me" she said as a few tears escaped her eyes. "I-I-I don't believe this" I said. I really can't imagine her own step mom abusing her, I really don't want to either. It was bad enough with her making Emma her maid ! "Em, you have to do something. Phone the police ! Anything ! " I said desperately. "I can't" she simply answered.
Of course i wasn't going to let her stem mom hurt her. I have a plan. It is ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
