Key Twenty-Four: Girls:

The escape plan isn't dead. The women have to take it up themselves. This was all Allen's doing. Thanks to him, there is a new hope of escaping. He may not be able to carry it out himself anymore but that wasn't going to stop the others from trying.

-Leda-

I have seen many timelines of this world's future. The smallest detail can change everything. Because of this, I have seen little cracks starting to appear in this timeline. Something is coming and I don't think we will get out of here. The city is growing. The tower is also growing. Both mean to swallow the living world and Heaven. I dread to say the outcome when that happens.

Allen isn't going to be much help now. He's gone now. They have broken him. I can't even reach him anymore. I saw what he has become and it is not good. I saw Allen's future. I don't dare to repeat it. Now, I have to be the one to pick up the cause.

However, it is not a complete loss. There are still others I can still reach. I talk to Ophelia daily. She's much stronger than she knows. I am trying to reach the others as well. Maybe I could see who's out there in the city.

Right now, Tyki is out dealing with another angel. I don't have long. I am going to have to get started. I drew in another breath. Here goes.

Can anybody hear me out there? Say something if you can hear me.

I sat back in that cage again. This can't be it, can it? I have been burned in the past. Why should this be any different?

I looked up again.

Oh, good. You can hear me.

I rolled my eyes. What do you want, Leda?

The tower. Have you noticed that something was wrong?

I wrinkled my nose. What about it?

Huh? What the hell is this? I couldn't get what she was getting at. Sure, I might have noticed some things. But still...

What are you getting at? What are you trying to say? There was a pause.

What she said next made me pause. The city is growing.

My spine went stiff. Did I just hear her right? The city... was growing? I quickly shook my head. No. No. No. No!

You have to get out of there before more angels are trapped in.

I started laughing to myself. You can't be serious. I can't leave. Where am I going to go?

It doesn't matter! You have to get out of here!

Don't worry about it! You have to be the one to take over the mission.

That caused me to sit straight up. What the...?! Did I hear that right? Me leading our group to escape? She can't be serious. I can't do it.

No excuses! You have to take charge! Allen can't do it anymore.

My eyes shot wide. What do you mean? What happened to him? There was a pause. I raised an eyebrow.

Leda?
