ski pulled up in front of my house and i hugged him getting out. i opened the front door and i heard fast footsteps coming down the stairs revealing a worried looking jahseh. he walked up to me and pulled me into a hug.
"why were you gone so long?" he said
"i was with ski" i said and looked at me with a look that broke me
"ski's your boyfriend?" he asked
"no no no no no it was prank jahseh." i said and ease came to his face.
he looks so sad right now for some reason. i looked at the "Alone" tattoo on his face and it clicked.
"you don't like being alone, do you?" i asked softly and he shook his head. "i don't either" i said and he just looked at me
he pulled his sleeves up and my jaw dropped. he had bloody cuts all up and down his arms.
"jahseh why did you do this?" i asked
"i was alone" he said and i started to tear up
"i shouldn't have left you. i'm so sorry" i said starting to cry
"it's not your fault. i do this a lot. there's something wrong with me" he said
"no there's not, there's nothing wrong with you" i said pulling him back into a hug.
...
i sat in the bathroom cleaning jahseh's wounds. it hurt me to know that he did this because i left him.
"you're thinking to much, stop it" he said
i continued to treat to his arm and he stopped me. he grabbed my chin and pulled me into a kiss.
"i think i love you ahmaree" he said
my heart warmed. he said he loves me. i thought i was going to be the first to say it.
"i love you jahseh" i said and he kissed me softly
i finished rapping his arms and we laid down.
"i'm sorry" he said
"sorry for what?" i asked running my hands through his dreads
"how I treated you this morning" he said "i just be scared to love cuz...nvm" he said getting quiet
"what" i asked
"story for another time..." he said and i nodded
