Hello there! I'm Angie, Angie Shepherd, and I'm here to tell you a story about a group of teenagers who find something they weren't supposed to.

Oh, and a little sidebar, this story is from my teen years. The year is 2012, August 16, and the stage is set. My friends and I were sitting on dock after going on an adventure through the woods. (I'll get to their names in a minute.) Anyway I was looking downward at the shimmery water, watching the fish swimming below. I see an enormous shadow slowly floating upwards to the surface. Before I forget, my friends names are Cynthia Owens, Monty Sharp, and Lilian Rocha. Anyway I kept my eyes on the shadow, slowly tapping Lilian on the shoulder to get her attention. "What's wrong my incredibly gorgeous honey pie?" She questioned me. I only pointed at the shadow which was nearly to the surface of the lake. I turn my head to her, and she looked as confused as I was. "I don't believe it's healthy for your skin to be that color, it's resembling a dangerously gray". We glimpse over at Cynthia, she suddenly had a look of horror of her face, "Cynthia, why are you making that face?" Monty exclaimed. "I-I'm sorry Monty b-but l-look..." We all look over and Lilian gasps and puts her hand over her mouth. I go wide-eyed terrified by the sight. The sight was exhilarating.

Just around 3 meters away from us was a rotting corpse floating mindlessly (see what I did there.)Monty sits there in shock for a moment then gets up towering over us saying "We need to call the police!" So we all get up and run for a bit, we soon come to a stop and look through our backpacks looking for our phones I find mine first, so I call the police.

"9-1-1, where is your emergency?" I heard a tired operator say on the other end. "We need help!" I say frantically. "What's going on?" "M-my friends and I were just sitting by New Kinta Lake, a-and a dead body p-popped out of the water!" I stuttered. "Ok, help is on the way, can you describe the body for me?" "Sure, but I don't remember much." "That's ok just try your best." "O-ok um well the first thing I noticed was the blood stained Hawaiian shirt, and the blue jeans." There was a pause. "Ok, do you remember anything else?" "N-no, but I can ask my friends." I turned my head to them "Guys what do you remember about the body, except the clothes?" Monty shrugged "I didn't really notice anything but I think I saw a wedding ring on their finger." "Ok one of them said he thinks he saw a wedding ring." "Ok that's good, we are one step closer to figuring out who it is, is there anything else your other friends noticed?" I once again turned my head to them, looking at Cynthia.

She shook her head, I looked at Lilian, she thought for a second. "I saw what seemed to be bits of blonde hair on their head." "Blonde hair, on their head." " Wow, you guys are remembering these details brilliantly." "I hear police sirens." Cynthia said trying to stay calm. "Fantastic, they are here." "Ok, we can hang up now, bye bye" "yea bye." I hung up, and we walked over to where the police were and told them everything we told the operator. "Alright you guys are free to go." one of the officers told us. "Thank you sir." We turn and start to walk away. When an image of the body flashes in my mind and I fall over starting to vomit profusely. Till everything goes black...
