Chapter 2: Party for the new girl

Weeks passed and things seemed to be settling in. The kids were all getting along. Rowen's sister was just a peach, a little crazy in the things she would say but, everything seemed perfect. Daqauri night came and all the kids were asleep. As she sat down, Rowen's sister said "Here, the perfect daqauri for a perfect girl!". Rosa started blushing as she looked over at Rowen as if to say Wow is your sister hitting on me?. At this point she believed they were so connected that he looked over at his sister and said "June, are you trying to steal my girl away from me?" she blushed as he finally said the words she had been waiting to hear. "Maybe I am" June said in a sarcastic tone "and maybe I've been stalking her where you wouldn't ever know!" she said as she looked over at Rosa and winked. "Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who can see how beautiful she is!" he said in a serious tone. "Oh come one now" Rosa replied in a joking tone "Both of you must have had to much to drink because I am no beauty queen!". All of them broke out into laughter at the same time. "I wish mom was here to see her!" June said in a sad voice! "Me too sis!" replied Rowen. "She sounds like a lovely lady!" Rosa said as if to break up the tears that she knew was going to fall if she didn't. Rosa thought I can't handle no sadness right now. "Oh she was a very sweet woman!" replied Rowen. "Oh my god!" June jumped up and ran to the radio which put everyone on high alert "This song is just for you beautiful Rosa!" the song was 'she will be loved' by Maroon 5. As the song started to play June started dancing towards Rosa, and using her fingers in a come here motion, started singing the song to Rosa. "I don't mind spending everyday out on your corner in the poring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile and ask her if she wants to stay a while!". Then June pushed Rosa away still holding onto Rosa's one hand, looking her dead in the eye and singing "Cause she will be loved, yes she will be loved!". Rowen could see how uncomfortable Rosa was becoming and stepped up and said "Don't mind if I take it from here!". "Of course not" she said as she watched them dance it seemed to Rosa like she was really jealous of her brother. "Umm...you may want to go talk to your sister!" Rosa whispered in Rowen's ear. He looked over at June, while dipping Rosa, as to not seem to obvious that he was looking at her and said "Your right I had better go figure out what is wrong!". As the song ended he approached his sister. "What's wrong June?" he said as to not cause a scene in front of June's wife. She stood up as to let the whole world know "Ok, yeah I'm upset" she said loud enough to get everyone's attention there "I'm upset cause here is my big brother and his lovely girl! You know what though they are stuck here because of a couple of psycho's!" he tried as hard as he could to get her to calm down but she was not paying him any attention. "You know what beautiful Rose? May I call you a Rose?" "Sure" she responded thinking 'wow she is wasted. I wonder how many drinks she had before daquari night had begun. "You know what beautiful Rose?" June continued on "If I ever find those people who are after you or are planning to hurt you I will kill them with my bare hands!". "Whoa" replied Rowen "I think someone is ready for a nappy nap time! A little nappy nap time away from the saucy sauce sauce!" he said joking. As he led her into the house we all could hear her muffled talking still going on. "Great!" her wife Juniper said "Now she woke up the damn kids! Leave it to June to destroy a daquari night for all of us!" Rosa couldn't help but chuckle. "Mommy, what is going on out here?" said Daisy who was already up close to Rosa when she asked. "Oh, my baby we were just having adult drinks and your Aunty June had 1 too many!". As Rowen came out he saw all the kids outside now wide awake. "Awe Fuck" he exclaimed "Well thanks June there goes the rest of our night! Fucked all because of your loud mouth!". Rosa looked at him in shock then looked at the kids "Oh shit!" he exclaimed "I forgot we were amongst crib midgets!". Luckily nothing he said fazed Faith and Daisy. "Ok" Rosa said trying to get him to stop "time for everyone to go to bed!". As she walked the kids back upstairs she heard Juniper whisper "That dumb wife of mine always kills the party for everyone!" to which Rowen replied "Yeah she's the one at the party to get drunk and call the cops on everyone there!" Rosa being within ear shot couldn't help but to let out a chuckle too.
Morning came and Rosa hoped that June was sober by now. As she rolled over she noticed her daughter's were missing but not her son. She quickly ran down the stairs screaming at the top of her lungs for her duaghters. "For Christs sakes woman" June yelled back "some of us got a hang over and don't need you yelling like a wild banchee!". She could hear her daughters squealing with laughter in the kitchen. "Awww hell, now you got them started. Right as I just got them to shut up!". Rowen was in a ball walking towards the stairs to try greeting Rosa Good morning but was laughing so hard he couldn't get a word out. Rosa could hear her son Draco now waking up and getting ready to come down stairs to join them. So Rosa yelled "We are in the kitchen honey!" June looked at her pointing with a spatchula at her as if threatening to end her yelling. Which sent all the kids into a fit of laughter. "Shhh" June looked at the kids "all that screaming and one of us is bound to go deaf.". Rowen looked at her as if to say Yeah you could only wish to be deaf right now. "Not a word" she said to Rowen as if to read his mind. "Where is Juniper?" Rosa asked in curiousity as to why she wasn't joining them for breakfast. "Oh Juniper and I see other people from time to time and we like it like that! So she is probably out with one of her other girlfriends?" Rosa seemed confused. "Think of it like this Rosa! I can't make you choose to love just one child right!". To which Rosa's reply was "No, but the way I love my kids is hopefully different then the way I would love Rowen!". She smiled and replied "Since when did love become so complex as that we love different people differently? Why can't we love them all the same way!". Rowen gave Rosa a look of Just drop it cause she won't. "Eww" said Daisy "that is gross. Why would you want to kiss anyone but your true love!". Before June could say a word Rosa stepped in and said "That is a conversation little girl for grown adults not for you to be asking questions about!". No sooner then she said that in came Juniper her wife. "What?" she said as everyone turned to look at her "Do I have a piece of dog shit in my hair or something?" and with a quick tongue Draco said "Does it smell like you do?" which made everyone start laughing again. "I like you Draco" Juniper said "you're a wise ass just like me!" "Oh God let's hope I'm not like you other wise I must look like the crypt keeper!" Juniper laughed but Rosa gave him a look of watch it boy. "Oh, it's time for the kids to get ready for school!" Rowen said as he saw all the laughter in them die. "Awe come one" replied Faith who said her first words finally after years of not saying anything. "Oh my God" Rosa squealed in delight "My baby you can talk!". Faith didn't say another word as if she wanted her mom to be embarressed. "Ha, figures when you don't want them talking they can't shut the hell up, and when you want them quiet bam they got something to say!" joked Juniper. All the kids headed out the door to school laughing at what Juniper had just said.
"Well, well, well," June started saying "we have at least until 3:15 before they come home!". "Yeah" said Juniper "what you got planned this time?". "I was figuring we could all sit down have some drinks and play truth or dare!" said June. "Ok" Juniper replied "I dare you to not get as drunk as you did last night! How about that? Think you can accomplish that!". "Oh hell," replied June "that was just my Irish blood kicking in and wanting to kick someones ass!". "All that Irish blood you keep talking about can't hold it's liquor to well now can it?" Juniper said sarcastically. "Well we will find out in a game of truth, dare, or drink then! You down Rowen" June asked. "Let's ask the lady first" he responded looking at Rosa. "Hell I could probably drink all of you under the table!" Rosa replied. "Ok" Rowen said "I guess we are all in for it!". "Hell no!" said Juniper "One of us has to be in our right mind when June decides to go off the deep end again!". Which started a laughing fit amongst them all except June. "Invite over your friends June and Juniper! Let's make this even more interesting!" Rowen said. "I'm not scared if you invite your friends and Rosa invites hers hell I'll pay for a babysitter to go pick them up, bring them home and sit with them upstairs all night while we get this party started!" Juniper replied. "Hell I'll go pick up the kids and help them with their homework upstairs but if my lovely wife starts going fruity I blame all of you except Rosa!" Juniper said in joking manner.
It didn't take long and soon the house was packed full of their friends. "Ok! Who wants to go first?"June asked. "I'll go first!" replied Rowen. "Ok" June said thinking up something Juicy! "Truth, Dare, or Drink? Rowen!" She said with an evil smile. "I'm no coward I'll take the truth!". "Ok" she said with a devilish smirk, knowing him better then anyone else. "What is a secret kink/fetish you have?" Rowen started to turn red. He desperately wanted to impress Rosa but at the same time he didn't want to scare her away. "Oh" Juniper said "I think I know who is going to be drunk before the rest of us!" she said sarcastically looking at Rowen. "Fine" Rowen replied "I have no shame in my game but, since you all wanna play dirty ok? My kink is I like to have my woman be in control in the bedroom!". Rosa's cheeks turned as red as her name. "Ok" Rowen said with his eyes set on Rosa "your up poor girl!" Rosa let out a soft chuckle trying to hide the fear in her eyes. "Truth, Dare, or Drink? Rosa!". "Dare" she said not thinking it fully threw. "Well" he said almost laughing "my little sister seems to love you so much I dare you Rosa to kiss her on the lips for 1 minute!". Rosa's face once again turned a bright bright red. His sister looked at him and said "You son of bitch! How could you do that to the poor girl?". "Hmmm" he hummed threw his mouth "seems like your more embarrassed to do it then Rosa is!". "Come here Rosa!" she said while giving him the evil eye "Lets show him what a real passionate loving kiss looks like, compared to the way I've seen him kiss you!". Rosa at this point was just as pissed as she was so she agreed along with June. As Rosa got up closer to June she noticed he wasn't the only thing smiling at her. "Umm...Rowen" she said trying not to embarrass him but before she could say another word his sister June pointed between his legs and yelled "Looks like he'll be needing to take a cold shower tonight". He looked down and his face turned beat red and he replied "Someone give me a pillow, I'm not about to miss this becuase my drift wood wants to float to the surface!". Rosa decided before she lost the nerve to go in for the kiss which caught June by surprise. He watched and laughed as Rosa roughly grabbed her by the hair and at this point it started to look more like a wrestling match as June rolled around on the floor trying to get Rosa off the top of her. Rosa stopped after a minute to take a breather and ask "Has it been 1 minute yet?". "Nope" he yelled louder then June's cry for the real psycho bitch to stop. Rosa then grabbed her by the hair again and this time accidentally slipped her the tongue. When the minute was up Rosa stood up over June and said "Don't ever dare me to do something stupid cause I just might do it!". June sat up too and said "Damn I know I didn't swallow my gum! That psycho bitch ate it!". Everyone including June's wife broke out into laughter. "My turn" Rosa said in a creepy tone liking the fact that everyone thought she was psycho. She pointed to June to which June replied "Aww Hell why me?". "June" Rosa said with a dirty smirk "Truth, Dare, or coward out and take a drink of my choice!". June had to think about it for a moment before she responded "I think I will coward out and take the drink you psychotic beeotch!". Rosa stood up and walked away. Everyone became nervous all of a sudden. Was she getting toilet water or what? Because it was taking her forever to come back downstairs. When she made her entery again they seen a glass with a clear fluid in it. "Aww hell" June said "this loco bitch is really going to make me drink toilet water!" Rosa approached her and said "One last chance June! Truth, Dare, or Drink!". As she thought it threw she realized Rosa didn't know her well enough to come up with a good enough Truth. "Truth" she said with funny looking smirk on her face. "Is it true June! That you enjoyed the kiss I just gave you?". "Awww what in the fuck!" replied June "Is it to late to take the Dare?" Rosa smiled a scary smile again. "It's not to late to take the Dare if you Dare!" she said in a monickle way. "Rowen, help me! Your pyscho loco beeotch is booby trapping me!" June screamed. Rowen replied with a simple "Take the cowards way out and drink the shot already!". "Ok" she said "I'll take your damn shot but, girl I don't care if you were most famous for being a psycho! I swear to God if that is toilet water you will not like me by the end of the night!"Rosa didn't say a word she just stared creeply at June. June plugged her nose and closed her eyes just as Rosa had planned for her to do. After she took the shot down her throat she started coughing like hell. "What the fuck was that?" June said reaching for a glass of water. "That would be something we call fire water or gasolina in my country! But I believe you all call it moonshine!" said Rosa.
As the night progressed and June started getting more and more drunk. Rowen decided to change the name of the game too "Truth, Dare, or Puff?". No one there carred much as everyone at this point was smashed. Rowen took out a big fat sack of weed and started rolling. When he got to the end of his bag everyone else pitched in there's too and somehow they all got mixed together. "Wait" Rosa said remembering she still had kids upstairs "We need to take this outside!" she said in a concerned tone! "Aww come on" Rowen said "maybe the kids need a stress reliever too!" Rosa gave him a look of do you really want to go there. "Never mind" he said "we need to take this party outside people" he said not wanting to see her hispanic side take flight. As they started moving outside out came Naked June as she will be referred to from this point on. "What the hell was that" replied Rowen. "You don't want to know" said Rosa who started barphing. "Party foul" Rowen cried out. "What is the penalty?" she asked not wanting to be the party pooper. "Well," he said with a shit eating grin "you said you could drink us all under the table which might be true but, can you smoke us higher then the houligans?". "Huh" she replied still confused to some of the American terms. "So for every time someone takes a puff so must you! Oh and as long as they hold it so must you!" He said knowing that she wasn't going to last long as the first strain was a 2 hitter quitter. The game continued on and right about puff number 4 she passed out on the grass. Everyone including Rowen were standing there asking "Is she dead?". To which Juniper replied "No you idiots she's just super high!". Rowen kept playing on but now he pissed off the wrong person. Juniper had been watching him pick on her and her wife the entire time. Little back story on Juniper, she went to woodstock and was known to be one of the oldest hippies and alcoholics, for the longest time, around. "Rowen" she said in her sweeetest tone "may I play also?". Rowen didn't know much about her this was the first year he knew that his sister was a lesbian. "Sure" he said "think you can keep up" she chuckled a miniackle laugh "Only if you can young pup! Oh before I forget I brought some of my own stash with me I hope you don't mind but I noticed you were running low on your own supply!". "Aww hell what could it hurt old lady! It's probably as dry as your uranus!" everyone laughed. Until she came back with "Well I think uranus is suppose to be dry there little boy unless of course your into butt stuff!". His face turned redder then a tomato. "Let the game's begin!" she said in a cheerful tone! The whole time everytime he would pick her at Truth, Dare, Puff, or Drink! When all was said and done they were the last 2 awake. "Let's make this more interesting" she said "because obviously you haven't drank but maybe 3 times and took maybe 2 puffs!". "Yeah" he said "that's kind of the point of the game!". She smiled Devilishly "Well now we get to choose our posion for each other!". "Huh" he replied just as confused as Rosa was about some of this stuff. "Well let's say you choose the cowards way and want a drink!". "Yeah" he replied. "Well I get to make you said drink" "Huh!" he replied "you probably don't know how to make anything past a Sherlly Temple!". "You know you are absolutely right so you should have nothing to fear in me pouring you a drink!" she said wittingly. "Fine go make me a drink you old hag!" Hmm... she thought as she walked downstairs to her personal bar. 'Old hag huh, probably can't make anything stronger then a shirly temple huh? ok she said to herself I'll fix this young pups little red wagon. As she approached the top of the stairs there he was sitting on the couch reclined back as if he was a big shot. "Well" she approached him "I see you found yourself a comfortable spot..." she paused as he said "Yup" then she continued "Yup a perfect place for you to pass out!". He grabbed the drink from her hand and chugged it down in one shot. The last thing he remembered was burping and blowing it in her face then nothing.
When everyone came to the all were feeling it but especially Rowen. "God damn" Rowen said "the old bitch hit me with a cast iron frying pan!" she was standing behind him the whole time. "Nope young pup!" she said turning on their big screen TV and turning the volume down so everyone could watch without feeling like their head was going to pop. "I took a video of you!" she said as she casted her phone to the Big TV. When the video started it showed him walking in and making snide remarks about how he was about to win. Then she came into focus with a drink in her hand. The whole conversation as he remembered it going down was caught too. She paused the video when he had downed the drink and gave him time to make himself look absolutely stupid. "Watch" he said while the video was paused "this old hag won buy hitting me with a cast iron pan!". No sooner then when he said that she unpaused the video to him burping and blowing it in her face then all of a sudden he collapsed onto the couch face first. Laughter filled the room as he and everyone else watched him get rolled by a granny. Rosa had just walked in as the video was turned off and the TV shut off too. "What's going on?" she said to Rowen as Juniper left the room into the kitchen. "That old hag rolled me!" he said all red faced. "Oh come on! Juniper is a nice lady why would she ever do that to you?" Rosa replied qiuckly. "Watch the video that she played just a few moments ago on the TV!" he said pouting his lips out as if he wanted to cry. Rosa quickly walked over to Juniper. "Excuse me!" she said tapping Juniper on the shoulder. "Yes there lovely young lady! How can I help you!" Juniper said as if not to know better. "Well" Rosa said "first I need something to cure a hangover! Second I was wondering did you roll Rowen?" "Well I'll make you a drink that will get you over that hangover quick but your not going to like it! Then we will sit down and talk and I will show you just how crazy you sound when you ask if a little old lady rolled a full grown man!" Juniper said trying her hardest not to laugh. She mixed a concoction together and told Rosa "It would be best if you just keep chugging and pinch your nose at the same time!" Rosa did as instructed and not 30 minutes later her headache was gone but the aweful taste was not. "Now you were talking about how an old fragile lady rolled a full grown man!" she said making herself seem like the victim. "Well" Rosa said unsure as she heard how crazy that must have sounded "he did say you had a video of you rolling him and that you played it on your big screen TV.". Juniper laughed and said "Now how could I have done that when the TV has a mind of its own? Go ahead Rosa I got no reason to lie to you! Go try it out for yourself!" Juniper said really holding back a hardy laugh as the remote was in her back pocket the entire time. Rosa got up and went to turn on the TV when all of a sudden it powered back off. She tried yet again and the same thing happened. Rosa at this point was embarrassed that she had accussed a sweet innocent old lady of doing such horrible things to her man. Rosa approached Rowen and when she was standing in front of him she slapped him super hard. "What the hell!" he said more confused then anyone else but, before he could ask anything, Rosa walked away and the old lady appeared. "Well that was a slap that will be heard around the world for days to come." she said enjoying every minute of it. "You are a witch!" he cried out. She looked back and said "No I'm just that bitch!".
When June finally got home from Jail they had an ankle bracelet on her ankle. "What happened aunty June?" asked Joy. "Well depends on what you mean?" June said trying to avoid the inevitable. "Well there is a big blinking bracelet on your ankle! Did you buy that?" she asked curiously. "Yeah" Rowen answered "she bought it and at a hefty price to!" he continued trying not to laugh "isn't it pretty my little Joy!". To which Joy replied "Well I think it would look better in a different color maybe Daddy other then black!" he couldn't contain himself and started laughing to the point that he was crying because his laughing was making his hangover that much worse. "I don't get what you are laughing about!" said Joy "And I don't know why you are crying either!" she said in an innocent cute voice laughing along with her dad. "Nothing" replied Rosa "your dad just isn't doing ok today and probably will need to sleep the rest of today away!" "Is he going to die?" Joy sounded concerned. "No" Rosa said "he'll be ok when he's done being stupid. But as for you little girl go get your teeth brushed, your hair brushed, get dressed, come downstairs and eat your breakfast before you have to go to school!" Yes, ma'am" she responded as she ran quickly up stairs.
The next day everyone especially Rowen was back to there old self and a majority of the people had already left. "Well'" Juniper said "who all wants to play Truth, Dare, Drink, or Puff?". June looked at her as if to say now is not a good time babe!. Rosa, was on the phone and what ever was being said made her eyes look like a damn ready to bust at any moment. Rowen walked over to try to hold her but she only pushed him further away from her. June seeing this knew her wife all to well and pulled Juniper off to the side. "Juniper" June said in a tone that made Juniper want to hide away from the lecture she was about to get for a week straight from the one she loved the most. "What did you do?" Juniper turned to look outside as she softly said "I don't know what you are talking about?". "I'm talking about the fact that this lovely girl wants nothing to do with my brother! Now I know its not a meer coincidence she is pushing him away like that! What did you do this time!". June sounded super irritated and mad all at the same time. "I may have took a video of me rolling him after pouring him my TKO drink!" Juniper said hoping June would believe that's all she did. June was not falling for it and curled her fingers as if to say come on. "Ok" she was reluctant to say it all but knew it would be worse if June found out on her own. "I might have put it up on our big screen TV and shown everyone but Rosa and of course when the blubber tooth pussy told her! I may have made him out to look like a liar by hiding the TV remote in my back pocket. Making her think it was broken. There you happy!" Juniper turned to face June who was doing everything in her power not to laugh or admit that she was amazed at how awesome of a scheme that was and how lucky she felt to have landed herself such a beautiful wise woman. "Juniper" she said looking in the opposite direction cause even she was starting to crack. "I want you to go tell the beautiful Rosa the truth! The WHOLE Truth" she said putting an emphasis on the word whole. When Rosa was off the phone Juniper approached her. But before she could get a word out Rosa hugged her tight and said "Please tell me you won't let him find us!" threw sobbing tears. Unsure of what to do Rowen stormed off looking at Juniper who was taking his place in comforting Rosa. Comforting her, reassuring her that she was going to be ok, that her and her babies were going to be just fine but, no instead Rosa turned to who he swore would be his nemisis from this day on. "Listen!" Juniper said in a sad tone. "You have no right to be mad at him! He did nothing wrong!". "Yeah" Rosa said in an irritated tone "the devil made him lie about everything a few nights ago, huh?". "Now you listen here young lady!" Juniper said in a irritated tone "This man is not Jesus! Ok? so stop expecting him to turn water into wine, walk on water, and do whatever else you have planned! He may occassionaly lie but he hasn't lied about loving you so much he would give his life in place of yours!". Rosa looked shocked as Juniper didn't stop there "So he lied about those things that night but how does that little white lie affect your future together?". Rosa paused and answered with what she thought was a wise answer "Well, it starts off with small little lies and then those lies get bigger over time!". Juniper laughed "So your telling me if he was passionate about growing a beard with a mowhak that was multi-colored because to him that's how he felt the most confident, you would piss all over the thing he loved to be honest!". Rosa had to think about it for a moment "Well of course not but that's different" before Rosa could finish Juniper said "Why because it's ok for you to lie?" "No!" Rosa replied. "Oh, I see its because your lie is not hurting anyone?" Rosa caught on fast that this woman could out smart her so she replied "No!". Juniper finished with this statement that stuck with Rosa forever. "See the world is not black and white, right and wrong. It is grey and all the beautiful colors inbetween!" Rosa was caught off guard by how intellegent this woman is.
Rosa walked over to Rowen who was sitting outside by himself downing his first beer. She assumed he was already trying to forget about her. Rosa sat next to him not saying a word. Until he looked over at her with sad eyes and said "Well, I suppose you came out here to chew my ass a new one again?". To which she replied with a simple "I'm sorry!". He was caught off guard by what she had said and looked back at Juniper who gave him a thumbs up. He didn't want to rescrew things up so Rowen just said "It's ok!". She let out a sigh of pain. "What's going on?" he said desperately trying to be there for her, in hopes that she wouldn't push him away again. "That was there father on the phone!" she paused choking back her tears "He said he knows where I am living and he plans on coming to get his kids asap!". He could feel the knives piercing her heart! "I won't let that happen, I promise you!" he said pulling her close to him.
