School wasn't the best, but you made it work. You listened to music, you drew during breaks, you read books.

You had a few friends who would gush out theories about 'stranger things' . Honestly, some of them were gossiping about Sadie.

You forgot Sadie was their friend, and it made you feel terrible. She didn't deserve the hate or the mocking, you've had a few classes with her.

She was sweet, and smart. Math was always fun, since you got to partner up with her. She would hand you notes, and smiled.

The moment Sadie was walking up to you during math, you closed your sketchbook and put it away.

"Hi y/n/n" she said in almost a whisper. "hi Sadie" you replied, but you didn't realize the butterflies in your stomach.

You knew you had liked girls, but your school was shitty. You couldn't tell a soul, or if you did- they'd be homophobic.

"Listen, I'm having a few friends come over for Christmas, thought you'd wanna stop by for a bit" Sadie offered, smiling softly with a blush on her cheek.

"I'd love to..." you accepted, feeling a tad panicky. No, it wasn't the fact she asked. It was more that you started realizing the crush you had on her.

She ripped a piece of paper, writing down something on it. She handed it over to you, then chuckled. "Text me"

You laughed, watching Noah do karaoke. She invited her friends from set, who were all sweet and kind.

"Oh! Y/n, I got you a present...Sadie told us all what you liked" Millie stood up, walking over to a box.

You blushed, wondering how Sadie knew what you liked. Maybe it was because of the mutual friend group?.

After everyone opened gifts, they decided to watch 'Charlie brown' .

You all got cuddled up on the couch. Sadie sat next to you, causing you to blush.

A few moments passed, and she had fallen asleep on your shoulder.

As that was a year ago, you and Sadie started dating.

You were both very happy, and your family's loved each other.

You would spend holidays together, spend time with the group. She never really did anything without you.

You two loved each other, dearly.
