You and me ft. Marcus Baker

Chapter 8.

I hear my alarm go off. I turn it off then look at Marcus who was laying on top of me. I tap him a couple times.

"yes?" he says half asleep
"do you want to go on a run with me?" I ask
"no im tired" he says
"okay" I say as I get up and throw on some sweats then Marcus's hoodie I give marcus a kiss on his forehead then open and close my door quietly. Then the front door. I start to run. I run a block or two then run back home, when I come back it's about 4:58 am. I go up to my room.

Marcus is still asleep.

"Hey" I say quietly
"hmm?" He says
"Time to go" I say
"nooo lay with me" he says
"fine let me change first" I say as i put on my shorts again and take off his hoodie while wearing a baggy shirt. I lay next to him and he big spoons me while I'm cuddled into his chest.
I close my eyes.
"Do you want to come over for dinner later?" I ask
"sure" he says kissing my head
"my mom wants to meet you like really bad" I say
"well she will" he says
"wake me up in an hour an a half okay?" I say
"Okay" he says as he kissing my cheek then wraps his arms tightly but not tight around me.

————————two hours later—————————
I feel weight get off of me as I open my eyes.

"hey im going to go okay?" Marcus says as he puts on his shoes as he sits on my bed and I stand in front of him wit my arms open. He then looks up at me and opens his arms as I jump into his and push his on the bed while I'm on top of him. We both laugh a bit then kiss him. I get off after a min or two.

"See you later? Right?" I ask
"Yes Pooh" he says as he starts to go through my window "I love you" he says
"I love you too" I say as I watch him go out.

I get back on my bed and look at the time it's 8:05 am. I go downstairs and put a bagel in the toaster. I see Matteo on his phone in the living room.

"Hey bud how are you?" I ask
"Good..." he says as I start to go back to the kitchen "bells?" He asks
"Yeah?" I say
"When could I see Marcus again?" He asks
"Oh well that's funny you ask cause I was thinking that...he could come for dinner tonight" I say
"wait?! Really?!" Matteo says
"Yeah" I say smiling
"YES!" He says "do you think he'll want to play call of duty with me after?" He asks
"I don't know probably though" I say as I hear the toaster pop

I grab a plate, knife and butter then take out the bagel then spread the butter then sit down and go on my phone.

"Mornin kids!" I hear my mom say as she walks downstairs
"Morning" me and Matteo say
"Mom!" Matteo says
"Yes?" She says
"Guess what!" He says
"What?" She says
"Marcus is coming over for dinner!" He says I immediately look up from my phone
"Oh is he now?" My mom says as she looks at me
"Well marcus um wanted to meet you" I say
"Does he now" she says
"Mhm!" I say
"Okay tell him to come around 5...okay?" She says
"Yeah" I say as I take out my phone and text him
"Oh and ma?" I ask
"Yes?" She asks
"After dinner and all that is it okay if we go out?" I ask
"Yeah sure" she says
"Could I come?" Matteo asks
"Um maybe" I say
