It was Brenda's 17th birthday today and her father, Jorge, decided to take her to the animal shelter to get a pet. She's been wanting a cat ever since she knew what one was
Jorge wanted to wait until she was old enough to take care of one
Brenda had finally had a job it's not that she couldn't get one it's just that every job that she got the boss or her coworkers were perverts which made her get into fights which led to her getting fired
Brenda put a tank top and ripped jeans on she went downstairs to eat breakfast with her father
"Good morning mija, happy birthday" He said
Brenda smiled at him "Thanks dad"
"Are you ready to go to the animal shelter?" He asked her
"Yeah, let's go"
She ran to the car excited making Jorge smile
