Hide-&-Seek!

(Btw Hunter is currently 5)

Just like Hunter did everyday it got ready for work and ran down to the Emperor's throne room. The emperor gives him his assignments for the day and he goes to do them. While running to go do someone plant work he ran into Hettie the head of the healing coven. "Golden Guard." "Hettie." Thats usually how he greeted people and people did the same to him. "Have consumed the potion for your fainting spells?" Hunter thought for a moment trying to remember if he did "Yes I did" "Good. Have a nice day little one." Hettie pat him on the head and walked away. She was one of the nicer coven heads.

Hunter walked off to do his tasks. He finished around 8PM and was allowed to go back to his room. He sat down on his bed, took of his boots, and thought to himself. He thought about the little boy shadow he saw the other day. Suddenly he heard the faint giggles. The same giggles from the little shadow. Hunter blinked and the shadow appeared on the wall in front of him. He jumped at the sudden sight of it. "Hiya! Long time no see!" "U-uh yeah..who are you?" The shadow paused for a moment as if Hunter had asked them the most odd question. Then they continued looking extremely joyful "I'm the collector and you're Hunter!"

"How did you know?" The collector giggled "I have my ways, now, want to play a game?" Hunter thought about it. I mean, he wasn't needed for anything anymore and he knows how to get out of his room without being seen. He smiled and nodded. "Oh this is gonna be so much fun! Ok Ok! I'm gonna hide while you count to 30 and then you come try to find me!" Again, he nodded with a huge smile. He's never had a play mate! The only actual friends he had died. His previous scouts, a ballistic (Hope thats how you spell it), and a little witch. The sounds of screams coming from the throne room haunt him..

30 seconds had passed and now Hunter had to search. His room is an obvious place to hide so he put on his mask and left. He had to be careful not to be seen since scouts were everywhere. If he did get caught his plan was to just say he had one more thing to do. He decided to walk down a couple of steps and saw a dark shadow in the corner bottom left. When he was about to touch it the shadow grew "You caught me!" "Ah! Hahaha!" The two children laughed for a little while before Hunter went to go hide. They continued to take turns until a private scout knocked on his door (A private scout has a private scout)

Hunter gasped and turned quickly. "You have to go know its....12:03AM?!" "Awww c'monn just ignore the knock!" "Hey is there someone in there with you?!" Hunter quickly stood and ran to the door "No no! Only me!" "Ok then..The Emperor wants you to go to bed" "Will do!" When Hunter turned the shadow was gone. He felt a little bad he had to tell the shadow to go away but he was taught guilt was also a form of weakness...he couldn't let his uncle know. After getting ready he went to bed or at least tried. It was about 3:48 when he actually fell asleep. Just another long night.

OK so I know it doesn't make much sense know. Why would Belos teach Hunter that guilt is weakness if he makes him feel guilty? He does this to make Hunter feel worse so when he makes him feel pathetic and horrible for messing up the tiniest thing he pushes down he feelings. Then he doesn't know how to make them go away causing him to feel more horrible and its just an endless cycle of him feeing like shit and suffering. Belos also does this just to make Hunter feel bad about his own feelings. Also, fun fact: Hunter turns sadness and guilt into anger which Belos provokes so he stronger to do good on missions. Another thing, Hunter is not allowed to share his feelings. He feels like he can't and he knows he can't which is why he finds it difficult to express how he feels. I'm pretty sure all of this is canon but whatever. BYE BYE
