It was a bright spring day. Finally the sky was clear so everyone at college was sitting on the college ground to enjoy the sunlight which finally came after so long. But Sanjukta was walking in a daze. She couldn't forget the deep eyes of Surya shaped like a lotus petal and the darkness in them. She couldn't forget his voice-as deep blue as an ocean. And she couldn't forget his lips and then what the hell! She slipped.

"O Maa!" She cried, reflexively closing her eyes. But two strong arms didn't let her fall. What in the world was Surya doing her? Had he come to her college only to meet her? She opened her left eye first, then her right eye. Those lips that felt like a sweet poison...

"Are you all right?" She heard his beautiful voice.

"Are you all right?" Wait! How did his beautiful voice became so timid and shaking? She looked up and then she saw those glasses and then those braces...

She pushed Prithvi away from her. "How dare you touch me?" She dusted herself as if snakes were crawling on her body.

"I...I...You were going to fall," There goes Prithvi and his irritating stammering.

"Don't you have a brain?" Sanjukta shouted, "Why do you cross my path? What do you want from me? I am a girl so you are stalking me. You are so disgusting... Khoobsurat ladki dekhi nahi ki..."

"I neither have time nor interest to stalk you," Prithvi muttered.

"What did you say? You are answering back to me?" Sanjukta raised her hand to hit Prithvi but Prithvi stopped her arm just in time.

"What have you done to me?" Sanjukta's hand was still in the air but she wasn't able to move it. "Why is my hand not moving?"

"I...I...how can I do anything, your majesty," Prithvi said with concern, "I couldn't do anything to your hand even if I wanted because it's you who's black belt in Karate and Taekwondo."

Sanjukta had told everyone she was a black-belt in Karate, Taekwondo and Kung-Fu and now she didn't want to retract. And anyways, how could a good-for-nothing guy like Prithvi do something like that?

Just then Samar Singh arrived at the scene and said to Sanyogita with worry in his voice, "Is this rat Prithvi doing anything wrong with you, Sanju?"

"Don't call me Sanju!" Sanjukta almost shouted at Samar, pointing her finger at him, but then she spoke quietly, "Yes Samar, this annoying, ugly dream was annoying me. Go teach him a lesson!"

Prithvi was beaten black and blue, this time by Samar Singh alone. When he looked at Sanjukta with tears in his eyes, Sanjukta lowered her gaze.

"Why do you hate me so much Sanjukta?" He softly asked her, his body bloodied.

"Because you are disgusting and ugly and coward and dim-witted.  You have every disgusting quality I despise and you're asking why I hate you?" Sanjukta said and left Prithvi on his knees, with wounded body.

Chandravardhan was just having a nap after returning from college when the doorbell to his room rang.

"Now I can't even sleep!" He muttered and opened the door, yawning.

Standing outside the door was the girl everyone in the college was crazy for—The Sanjukta Mukherjee. So every boy at their college was mad for this princess but not Chandravardhan. Nah! Sanjukta was not his type.

Sanjukta pushed away Chand and entered his room.

"Excuse me?" Chandravardhan said, "I've not given you permission to enter my room."

"I don't need anyone's permission, and especially not yours," Sanjukta said, her face scrunched with disgust looking at Chandravardhan's room.

"Someone ought to teach this princess manners," Chandravardhan muttered, then not wanting to stretch the matter any further as he had to complete his nap, he said, "Anyways what do you want? You surely have not come to my room to make disgusting faces."

"I want Surya!" Sanjukta said.

Well everyone wants Surya! Girls had already started writing fanfictions of Surya with Y/N as lead character on Wattpad and Tumblr. Men were arguing how Surya is nothing but a clout-seeking criminal, secretly wanting to know more about this enigma.

"Why?" Chandravardhan simply asked.

Because we kissed! Sanjukta thought but instead said, "Just because I'm interested...like everyone else."

"Even I want to know about Surya," Chandravardhan yawned again, "But I have so less information to make any logical connections."

"How about we make a team to find Surya's truth?" Chandravardhan could control his laughter with great difficulty. Team and with this spoiles princess! It would be a death wish.  But Sanjukta was rich and Chandravardhan, being dirt poor, didn't have adequate resources to investigate about Surya, so he said, "OK!"

"So the princess wants to meet you again?" Sanjam said to Surya who was playing Chess with himself, "I think it's the time..."

"Calm down Sanjam," Surya said, making his Queen move, "Let her grow more desparate. Let her grow more restless. Surya isn't her slave that she wishes and he comes before her as per her command. The more desparate she will be, the easier will it be to execute our plan."

"But is it right Surya?" Sanjam said, keeping his hand on Surya's shoulder, "Are we right in using Sanjukta as a pawn in this..."

"What do you mean Sanjam?" Surya's eyes were red, "We have been waiting for this since fucking fifteen years and we knew from the beginning there will be collateral damage. I honestly don't care if anyone gets hurt. I will use anyone, I will hurt anyone if it takes me closer to my revenge and justice. I am not going to repeat the mistakes of my parents by being noble and kind. And anyways, it's not that Sanjukta is completely innocent. She too views powerless people with the same eyes as her father. Don't worry, Sanjam, no one will get any more or ny less than what they fucking deserve." Surya said and check-mated himself.
