I've been a fan of Set It Off for a few years now, ever since I listened to their song 'Wolf In Sheep's Clothing'. When I heard it, I really liked it and was intrigued so decided to check out their other songs. Since then, they've been your go-to band to listen to. I've always hoped to be able to go to one of their concerts but they've either never come to (Your hometown) or they've had concerts on days that I can't attend. However, I noticed a post on their Instagram today that got me really excited. The caption said "Finally doing a (Your Country) tour! Which dates will we see you at? 👀"
They were finally coming to my hometown! After so many years! I rushed to tell my friends the exciting news.
Me: GUYS! GUESS WHAT!
BSF/N: What?
F/N: Yeah, what's up Y/N?
Me: SET IT OFF IS FINALLY COMING TO (YOUR HOMETOWN)!!!!! DO YOU GUYS WANNA GO???"
F/N: WAIT, SERIOUSLY?! OMG, YEEESSSSSS!! TOOK THEM LONG ENOUGH!!!
BSF/N: UH, DUH!! OF COURSE WE WANNA GO!? IT'S SET IT OFF! WHEN IS IT?!"
Me: It's on 14/04. I think there's a VIP option as well! Should we go for the VIP option? I've always wanted to meet them!
BSF/N: Let's do it! I've always wanted to as well! I'll book mine now. You guys book yours now as well before it sells out!
F/N: Roger that captain!
Me: On it!
I put my phone down, went over to my desk, and set up my computer to book the tickets. The prices were kind of high but it would definitely be worth it. I can do extra shifts at work to get the money back. No biggie. I booked the tickets for the pit because, everyone knows that's the best place for a concert. I let my friends know that I booked my ticket and sat back down on my bed, just thinking about how awesome this concert is going to be. But it's not for another two months. I don't know if I can wait that long.
**Two months later**
The day had finally arrived! I can finally go see Set It Off live! I could barely contain my excitement. Me and my friends had decided that they would come to stay the night before and after the concert so we can get ready together and not have to worry about going separate ways late at night alone. For the concert, I decided to wear (outfit below, minus the heels and hat) with my black pumps and Set It Off necklace that I had bought a few months prior.
