These dreams, Taehyun has been getting them every single night now, different ones, and it's been clouding up his mind on the daily.

At night he'd pass out into dreamland and wake up in cold sweat. As a ghost, he isn't supposed to fall asleep or even sweat.

It was getting weird.

His thoughts piled up about the situation inside each dream he has had. Beomgyu was always there with him and they were always at the same spot, it being the fountain he and his old friends used to go to together.

Although he dreams about it, he never once asked Beomgyu in these weeks to go back to the fountain. He's kind of scared. He doesn't know why, but he really is absolutely affirmatively afraid of asking Beomgyu to come to the fountain with him, knowing Beomgyu hated that smell, whatever it was.

But now seeing in every dream how his body is underneath that fountain, that smell was probably his rotted corpse.

He knows he could tell Beomgyu anything, but for some reason he just couldn't get himself to ask him to go back to the fountain. Maybe it was because it was his special fountain and this mystery was pointing all fingers at his friends for his death.

But lucky for him, just this specific day, Beomgyu read his mind.

"Oh? You wanna go back to the fountain? Sure!" Beomgyu said with a smile on his face.

"Ehh? But, I didn't-? Actually, yes, I want to go please.." Taehyun finally said.

Beomgyu hums. "You've been thinking about it all week, I just said it now since you haven't asked me."

"Aha, sorry.. I wasn't quite sure with myself."

"If you wanted to go or not? Well don't worry! Next time, if you ever think of a place, let's go together!"

Taehyun stared into Beomgyu's shining brown eyes with a loving smile. "I love you so much."

"Hehe, I love you too!" Beomgyu peppers kisses onto Taehyun's face. "Come on! Ghost me!"

"I can't do that! If I do, you'll be so sad.."

"Wrong meaning, Hyun."

"Right, I know! I was just joking." Taehyun chuckles. "Alright, you're in ghost mode, love."

"It's like a pooolaroid love~" Beomgyu sang, taking Taehyun's hand. He dragged them over to his windowsill.

"Sarang chonseureon geu gamjeong~" Taehyun sang as well. They jumped off the railing and started to fly, heading towards the far away fountain.

Once they landed, Beomgyu sniffed the air and gagged. "Oofie, being a vampire made the smell 10x worse." He said with his nose scrunched.

"Don't worry, we'll get rid of it soon.." Taehyun took a deep breath in before lifting the fountain up with all his strength.

"Woah.." Beomgyu mumbled once he sees what was causing the horrible smell. The sight also made his heart break a lil.

So yeah, Taehyun's body is underneath it. Although it's been a few years since his death, Taehyun's body was frozen and recognizable to the point you could see all the ways he was killed.

His skin was all green and his bones were showing much clearer. Bloody head where he was knocked out. Multiple holes in his stomach indicated he was stabbed to death. Deep cuts on his wrists and neck meant he was also tortured. Clothes ripped and scattered meant he was also sexually assaulted. But the most gruesome part of it all was his detached head from his body. He was decapitated.

There's also blood stains under the fountain below his body. If that was the case then it meant the weather washed away the rest of the blood.

But now they had to figure out who did it to bring justice to Taehyun.

"So, what happens if you accidentally touch your body?" Beomgyu asked, looking down wearily.

"I'll disappear and won't return."

"No, I meant like, do I stay a ghost forever or something? Cause this place is super far from the mansion and I can't fly."

"Beom.."

"Hehe, joke! It's just a joke!" He grins. "But seriously, I don't want you to leave me just yet.. so don't you dare touch yourself." He glares.

"Chill out, baby. I won't leave quite yet." Taehyun rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.

"Mhm, that's what I thought." Beomgyu hugs Taehyun tightly. "Now we should go. We found your body but we still need to find the killer."

"Actually.. I think I know who it is." Taehyun sighs.

"You do??" Beomgyu gasps. "Who?!"

Taehyun thought for a while before beginning with a hum. "Remember my group of friends that I talked about?"

"Mhm! Mhm!" Said Beomgyu while nodding his head enthusiastically.

"I believe they all did it." He states.

"Yeah, no kidding. They are the only ones who know about this spot." Beomgyu scoffed. "I hope they all go to where they belong. Behind bars! Forever!"

"Hehe, don't get too mad, my love. We still need to find evidence against them." Taehyun ruffles his hair.

"But why? All the evidence is right here.." he pouts.

"Yeah, but you never know? They could somehow find reasons to get out of the situation and make up excuses."

"Oh ye. Smart."

And so, the two flew back to their house to find evidence on who was there that night and how they did it. After putting the fountain back first, of course.
