Poppie snatched up a T-shirt and stuffed it in her suitcase. She was going to a rip-off of Disney World (because it was cheaper) called Dizzy World with the rest of the high schoolers. All the school's families had pitched in, and every grade was going to a different amusement park. The middle schoolers were going to Dolly Hood and the elementary schoolers to the cheap Airy Potty World.
Suddenly Kaylen shrieked.
Poppie whipped around and saw Kaylen stumbling away from a large spider. Kaylen, at the same time as Poppie, realized it was Sarina's fake spider.
Kaylen groaned and threw the toy at her little sister who was dying of laughter. "Grow up."
"Can't wait to be out of here," Poppie said, sighing.
Kaylen nodded in agreement. "Maybe we'll actually have more than one lightbulb in the room we stay in."
Poppie rolled her eyes. "Ugh, yeah."
"Chop chop," Ruthie clapped her hands together.
"Shut up, we're doing what we need to be," Poppie snapped.
"Well you're leaving in five minutes so hurry up," Ruthie glared at her. "I'm only doing what I'm told. Can't wait to get out of this house."
"Too bad you didn't go to college while you could," Kaylen said while zipping up her suitcase.
"I'd rather go to dance school..." Ruthie's voice trailed off as she walked away.
Poppie closed her bags. "I just thought; what if she's staying because of Ben?"
Kaylen laughed. "Probably."
The cousins dragged their bags out of their 'room' and weaved through their many adopted relatives.
"Oh great," Poppie groaned. "We'll probably have to ride with Elula."
"Oh yeah."
. . .
"Florida here we come!" Logan held her arms out dramatically.
"It's South Carolina," Charlie corrected.
"Wait really?"
"It's the rip off version; not in the same state."
Logan scowled. "Well, boo Carolina."
Charlie laughed. "Still," She put her sunglasses on.
The sisters model-walked to the airport.
"So," Logan started as they entered the building. "The high schoolers get a whole plane to themselves."
"Wow! How can they afford that?"
Logan smirked. "Let's just say dad and Mr. Peterson helped."
"Well, everybody contributed."
"Eh, I wouldn't be surprised if the Jacksons got away without lending a penny." Logan said as she spotted Taylor Jackson. He also saw her, but luckily, he couldn't hear what she had said.
Soon the Little Acorns high schoolers were shuffling onto a plane after Mr. Jenkins.
Logan sat beside Kimberly, who was at a window seat.
"Did Charlie drive you here?" Kimberly asked.
Logan nodded. "Why couldn't you come with us?"
Kimberly rolled her eyes. "My mom wanted to make sure I got here safely."
