Trina's visit

Trina never seemed to change, but there was something... positive about her.

"Hey Corey." was the first thing she said to me. I was thoroughly surprised. She looked out the window and noticed Laney's car: a black 2003 Ford Thunderbird. She never asked who owned it.

We actually had a fun time talking about our lives and how they changed. Trina managed to have the courage to ask Nick Mallory out. So she has a boyfriend now. She also burned her diary, which wasn't a problem now that we had our own way to come up with lyrics.

"So, who are you dating?" The moment struck to come clean. I know that if I don't, she would find out anyway.

"I'm in a relationship with Laney."

I wasn't expecting her to be calm and OK with that but she was.

I told her how she owned the Thunderbird parked outside, and about our first kiss.(she promised to keep it a secret.)

"Where is Laney anyway?"

I took her up to the bedroom door and I went into the bathroom. I called Laney.

"Is she gone yet, Core?"

"No. But you can come out now. Trust me."
