Traitor

Beginning

Darius flopped onto the couch, the smell if his moms cooking made him excited for breakfast. He flicked on the TV and made it to the news channel. He watched as a lady explained what Biosyn was doing in a fairly happy tone.

Darius rolled his eyes but he was still invested. After breakfast, Darius immediately went to message Brooklyn.

Dino-nerd: Hey B?

Superstar: Wsp?

Dino-nerd: can you look into Biosyn for me? I have a bad feeling about them.

Superstar: ofc! anything for my friends <3 ttyl

Dino-nerd: thanks! you too

He turned off his phone and began looking into it. Everything he could about Biosyn and the Lockwood family, to no avail. Thats when his phone pinged. A text from Brooklyn.

Darius had been working "with" Biosyn for quite some time now. About a year. Only, his name wasnt Darius anymore. It was Ramsay. Ramsay Coleman. He obviously had to hide his identity so Dodgson didnt find him out.

"Ramsay," Dodgson pulled Ramsay aside from whatever he was doing, "Dr Alan Grant and Elise Sattler are going to come over to Biosyn. I want you to ride in the helicopter with them and introduce them to our sanctuary"

Darius' heart lifted. He was going to meet Alan Grant AND Elise Sattler?!? He nodded at Dodgson and watched him leave the room. Ian Malcolm has been at Biosyn doing speeches but Darius only cared for the paleontologist and paleobotanist.

A few hours later he was in the helicopter flying to pick up the paleon-whatever. He stepped out if the aircraft to greet them, a 1000 Watt smile plastered on his face.

"The t-rex... the t-rex is here?" Dr Grant asked in disbelief and awe.

Darius nodded, "she took a couple years to catch. And she arrived just before you." Darius grinned and chuckled at their faces.

They landed and exited into the courtyard. Everyone had somewhere to be. Dodgson approached and greeted them. He seemed a bit slow and jittery but he was quite old, so Darius paid no mind.

Darius led the two into a room where Ian Malcolm was giving a speech. He was mid sentence when they opened the door with a loud metallic creak.

In the lobby, Darius spoke with a co-worker. Elise and Alan were huddled together talking quite loud. He practically overheard everything they were saying, about Biosyn and the crops.

He gave a small side glance to see Ian handing them a bracelet that unlocks almost every door. Darius felt like he should say something but didnt want to scare them or get them caught.

Darius stood by the underground railway, staring at the doctors, who wore tattered chem suits.

"Oh my goodness. thank god we found you! this place is a maze!" Ellie tried to continue but Darius cut her off, urgently opening the door to the railway.

He explained everything Biosyn was doing and ushered them into the tram. They stood there hesitantly, and quietly gestured at some stacked crates.

Darius couldnt believe his eyes when THE MAISY LOCKWOOD emerged from her hiding spot. She looked unsure, and was dressed in casual wintery clothes.

The three of them entered the tram and soon left. Darius felt good with what he did, smiling to himself. He began to head to the control room.
