She jumps down and heads straight for Zantanna. I run as fast as I can to her. She is about to cut her but I stand in front of her and take the blow. I scream out in pain and I can't see. I keep stumbling around blindly. Someone, a female tries to guide me somewhere. She is talking but I can't pay attention due to the pain. With my free hand I reach towards my eyes and I'm horrified at what I feel. Blood. I can feel the cold of the outdoors. We walk a little longer until I touch the side of the ship. She sets me down in a corner, or at least I think it is. She starts to leave and let go, but I grab her hand. "Please don't leave me." I say. She comes closer and lays my head on her lap. Zantanna. She pets my hair and I can hear her quiet sobs. Slowly and painfully, I fall asleep. How will I protect her now!? Will she hate me now that I can't see!? . . . Will I ever get to see her again?
