Was I walked out of school that day, someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Ava's beautiful smile, her eyes glimmering in the sunlight. I just stared at her, I was amazed by her beauty. She'd giggle and say:
- "Hello?! You there?" She said while giggling - "I was just wondering if I could get your number, so we can get to talk and maybe even hang out!" Ava sounded excited
-"Yes, of course! My number is 462 **** 991"
I watched as she got her phone out of her pocket and added me as a contact. I waved goodbye and started walking home. All I wanted to do at that moment was to jump around and kick my feet, my god I was so excited. As I was walking, I heard my phone ping and picked it up. It was a text from Ava
-"hi!!! I was thinking we could go shopping sometime, when are you free?"
I'd respond by telling her I was free tomorrow, which was Saturday. She agreed and we made plans to meet up at the mall. I hugged my phone tight to my chest and all I wanted at that moment was to be with her forever.
As I came home I headed up to my room and turned on my computer, I was excited to tell my online friends about Ava and that I thought I was lesbian. I opened discord and went on a 2-hour ramble about Ava. I still can't understand how I could fall in love so easily. I only stopped rambling because my brother came into my room to call me down for dinner, he also laughed and wondered why I was so red.
-"Why are you so red? Do you finally have a boy on your mind?" He said in a teasing way
-"No! I was just previously laughing." I lied
He giggled and headed down to dinner. I closed my computer and headed down, I decided to be quiet during dinner because I didn't want to accidentally come out. Because by this time, I had realized I was gay, but of course still devastated that I wasn't gonna have a big family with a husband in the future. I sat down and the first thing my brother would spit out of his stupid mouth was:
-"Hazel has a crush!!" He laughed
-"No! No, I don't, as I said I was just laughing at something a friend sent." I'd mutter
He chuckled before my father changed the topic. I just sat quietly and ate my dinner, but suddenly my mother asked:
-"So who are you going to Greece with?" She said with curiosity
-"Uh Ava"
My mother chuckled, then went quiet as she didn't want me to get flashbacks from elementary school. After I devoured the dinner I went up to my room and turned on The Glory. I ended up staying up all night both watching The Glory and thinking about Ava. She was out of this world beautiful, she had soft hands, soft lips, soft skin, everything was so soft about her, even her voice.
The next day I woke up and realized I had time to pass, I got dressed and headed down for breakfast. As I ate my toast I told my parents I was going to go shopping with Ava, they chuckled and said we would make great friends. I went up to the bigger bathroom where all my makeup and skincare were stored. I wanted to do a soft beautiful look, but I didn't wanna be a "try hard". I brushed my long ginger hair and set it half up with a pearl clip. I checked my outfit for the last time before going out, a white mini dress with pearl accessories won't be too much right?
As my dad dropped me off I immediately spotted Ava, she looked more beautiful than ever. She complimented my look saying I looked beautiful. My heart skipped a beat, because to your friends you usually just say pretty, right?
We headed inside the mall and decided to get bikinis first, we headed into a summer store and decided to get matching bikinis. She wanted the strapless one, so I went with the other one with straps

After that, we decided to go to H&M to get more summer clothes and pajamas. We ran around for a while because we were so indecisive. We also talked about our past, and she apologized again which made me love her even more. I saw she picked out some pajamas, but I realized it was just a top with panties. I told her that would fit her while not trying to look like a total tomato.
We purchased some clothes and decided to head to a cafe for some snacks. We ended up going to dunkin' donuts and getting some delicious donuts. We had a good laugh as we tried to shove our donuts down the fastest. But then, she accidentally dropped her phone while taking a picture of me. I went down to the ground to retrieve it, but so did she. Our hands touched and we lifted her phone together. She chuckled it off and I tried to chuckle too, but I was exploding with butterflies.
A few days had passed since we meet up in the mall and in only two days we were supposed to fly out to Greece, man I was excited. But then I realized we had to share a room, meaning we probably had to sleep in the same bed. I was about to have one of those anime nose bleeds and I was so excited and in love with Ava.
As the next day headed around, I went to school as normal and Ms. Jones explained how tomorrow was gonna go. Ava tapped me on the shoulder in the middle of the speech, I turned around and something happened I never thought would happen.
