When Byleth used the power of the goddess to break out of the void he was trapped in he used too much power, it was only a matter of time before it was all unleashed and of all times it chose was when the blood of the eagle and lion was shed.
As the battle begun a bright light shone from the professors chest, performa, blinding everyone on the battle field. Confused Byleth instinctively divine pulsed but nothing happened, then time and space started distorting in a way too chaotic to be a divine pulse.
"What's going on?" yelled Edelgard managing to keep calm "Whatever it is, it's no scheme of mine." Claude responded as if they were still classmates getting pranked by him.
