Deedee is a 13-year-old girl from Castlerock, Oregon. The town was about the same size as Rigby, the only difference was there were back woods and it got over 100 degrees in the summer and stayed high 70s low 60s in the winter. Deedee dint mind it in Castlerock she didn't care for wen the summer got around then everyone was inside using Ac, which is why there were balck outs mainly in the summer. She was just happy to go into the woods and see what she could usually find rabbits and goffers, so she had to watch were she was going so she didn't break her ankle from stepping in goffer holes she had done so she had a torn tendon in her ankle for a week.

She was watching the news with her family and saw a news report on a girl in Salem not far from her hometown. The girl who was bullied had committed suicide. She was found by her parents in her room with an anti-depressant. Cops said she had overdosed on the pills. That made Deedee think about what drives people to bullies. Is it trouble at home? She knew that's what some days drove her crazy.

She was walking to school with her friend Corline, she was always dressed in old shorts and T-shirts she was thought to cause trouble. Then the idea hit her to start a campaign against bullying.

When Deedee told her mom about the idea. Her mom said (that it was a great idea you should start it at your school.) That's a great idea. Deedee said. So, Deedee went to her room and started a presentation. So, she could show her teachers and principal. What they could do to prevent bulling in their school. It took her all night to do the presentation, but it was finally done by the next morning, so she got up got ready and almost walk out the door with out the thumb drive.

She decides to show her to her teacher and principle, but they wouldn't listen to it . Corline and Deedee were goofing off when she told her about her ideas. she said (we're just kids no won is gone a listen to us heck people in this town do not listen to us any way. Fine but she was right. No one would listen to them. One was a thief, and she was dumb and dogged oncoming trains. They were lucky to go to school. When the parents were worse Corline's and Deedee dads were always drunk. And Deedee had the bruise to prove it and so did Corline. It was mid – summer Deedee still couldn't stop thinking about that girl on the news. So, she and Corline came up with a plan that they would put posters all over town to raise awareness. Then she and Corline had people signatures on the pledge for the campaign posters that said who suicide was most common in it was most common in young adults and teens. They were off and running their own campaign.
