Today was the day that I leave. As I was packing my bags, one of my fellow siblings came into the cabin.
"What are you doing?" she asked in a very rude tone of voice.
"Why do you care, you good for nothing slime?" I replied. Her name was Julie and she was the biggest bully here. You would think it would be a child of Ares that would be the meanest, but Julie was cold-hearted and crafty, always trying to bring me down a level every time she sees me.
"I'm leaving forever, so leave me alone."
"Well, well, well. Little Jem going out on her own. I bet you die the second you step out of camp," she said with a smirk on her face.
With that I left on my journey, but before I reached the edge of the camp I heard a gallop of hooves and a voice crying, "STOP!!!"
I turned around and saw the half-man, half-horse Chiron. He is the head director of the camp just under Mr. D (the idiotic god of wine).
"Where do you think you're going?!" Exclaimed Chiron in a strict but concerned kind of way. "I'm going away... Forever."
"But why Jem?" he said, wanting me to stay, but nothing he can say will stop me from leaving.
"It's complicated," I replied, not wanting to tell him I was off to challenge a god.
"Just remember when you step outside this camp you can't come back."
"I know Chiron, now goodbye and thank you for everything you've given me."
And with that I stepped out of the camp to go on an impossible quest.
