I was crying, my legs were shaking uncontrollably. He had just attacked me and put a gun to my head. "Shut up you bitch, stop crying" he said as he slapped me across the face. I held my cheek in pain.
Just as the slap had reached my cheek I suddenly snapped out of my flashback. My professer had just handed me back my paper, 97%. "Well done, impressive"
I was tired and couldn't wait for this class to be over. Just as the the class was over and everyone had started to leave, my professer had called me back.
"Excellent paper Lilah" he says as he takes off his glasses. "Now it is completely up to you but I do have a student in need for a tutor and you seem like the best fit. But again it's completely understandable if you don't want to go ahead with it" he says wiping his glasses on his shirt.
"Ill think about it thank you professer" I reply as I turn around and walk out of the lecture hall. I had so little time for myself that I couldn't possibly tutor some dumb person that is failing Psych.
I walk towards the library to study but find that the library is completely full with no seats for me. I begin searching for a space to study when I come across a hockey stadium. I find a seat relatively close to the back and drop my bags. There was no one there except for me, or so I thought. Soon enough the whole college hockey team comes skating out on the ice cheering.
I put on my headphones to block out the noise and continue with my business. I couldn't help stare as the team warmed up, passing the puck to one another before scoring through the tiny goals. I noticed one of the more muscular guys, Sterling.
I had my eyes on him since the first day of college last year but I was to shy to ask him out. He would probably laugh at me anyway. I have gained more courage since last year but I would still never ask him out because of my previous boyfriend.
We made eye contact, his eyes were a warm hazelnut colour. I quickly turned away looking back at my notes, but I couldn't help glance at him again. He was still staring at me.
He was probably thinking of how much of a loser I am. I don't have much friends, well one if I'm being honest, but I prefer it that way and I was labelled as 'the weird kid' in high school because I read so much books.
He smirked at me before going back to warming up with his teammates. I hid my mouth with my hoodie and secretly smiled.
I tried to not stare at him throughout his training, but it was so hard. His brown fluffy hair was showing through his helmet and his hands, his hands were so big and manly. His face was so perfectly made and I just wanted to lunge at his lips and kiss them until they fall off.
Okay so, I might have a slight obsession with him but I was able to control it. I had heard about him though, he supposedly sleeps with a new girl every week and moves from one to the other. I wasn't going to fall for that, for him. Despite how gorgeous he was.
I wasn't getting any study done while staring at the sweaty jock. I packed up my stuff and glanced at him one last time before leaving.
Once I arrived home I ordered pizza and decided to study. I opened my notes that I was hoping I would get done by tonight but I guess I didn't. Soon the pizza arrived and I began nibbling at it while staring blankly at my notes. All I could think of is him. Him.
I snapped out of the trance once my roommate had arrived home. Her name was Vera and she was my best friend since we were Sophomores. She came right over to me and hugged me over the couch. "Hey girl, how was pysch?" She asks sweetly as she reaches her hand to the pizza box.
She was wearing a nice dress with fancy heels and a bag. She had gone on a date but I presumed it didn't go very well as she was scoffing down the pizza.
