1:Introduction

Hi! Thanks for choosing to read this book, this entire book is gonna be a way for me to test out how I write, so don't feel too bad if I discontinue (I'm just kidding) (Or am I? 😈)

Obviously you weren't planning on sitting outside for the night, and you were only a quarter of magic away from being powerless, but you fell apon what looked to be a fancy temple with stone monkey statues that were evenly spaced with both facing the front gate and you ajared the door open and slipped through quickly.. Not so quietly

(Take a break, get some food, this book won't disappear if you take your eye off the screen)

You weren't the most evil of demons as you mostly broke in for shelter, mostly when you broke in,people weren't too concerned with the front door so you could sneak around, mostly.

You quietly slipped around the sides of the temple, and found an easy entry, you knew this spell would leave you only with simple teleportation left, but you didn't care that much as teleporting would be all you'd need to leave and go back home

Your eyes subtly glowed a golden color as you made a circle motion and a portal opened, you stepped through it, the glow leaving your eyes, you quickly looked at the several monkeys watching tv, they copied your motion almost in unison, except they gave off a terrified face.

You on the other hand absolutely squealed, those monkies were the cutest thing you've ever seen, and you immediately ran up to them, all of them scattering every which-way, you had no intention of giving up though, you climbed onto the couch reaching for the ones that were hiding themselves among props on the ceiling, you ALMOST grabbed one before you fell down

You noticed how the monkeys seemed to calm down, so you did a fake dead impression to see if they would come near you, and they did, it was a bit of a challenge trying not to pop up and scare they accidentally, but you kept composure

And you caught one, you immediately started petting it, it obviously realized you meant no harm and allowed itself to melt to your touch in a way, you were so invested in how it's little face made a cat mouth, and pushed it's head onto your hand more when you stopped petting it, and the tail ever-so slightly wagging

The monkey looked up and jumped off you onto something behind you, in an attempt to grab the monkey turned around, and to your horror there stood someone famous for killing demons, your eyes widened as you quickly jumped off the couch and got into a fighting stance

"No need to fight, but why were you touching my monkeys." He spoke with an eyebrow ever so slightly raised "I-I-I" you couldn't muster up the courage to speak let along start a convo with someone that could easily kill you and if you tried, would suffer a slight papercut

You backed up, an understandable move for someone who could die "Also, what are you doing here, did the stone monkey statues not give you any hints as to where you may be?" You felt stupid, of course the specificly stone monkeys would mean something, how could you pass that up!?
"No.. They didn't" you didn't know what courage that was cause you didn't feel any.."answer the first question." He stated, obviously not in the mood, he was probably having a pretty casual evening..

Until you Barged into it..

You needed to leave, but.. He could still track you down.. "Are you listening." You looked up in a panic response "Answer what I asked first."
"If I told you I was here for shelter.. Would you believe me?" You sheepishly grinned looking up at THE Great Sage! "Not after you said that. "
He responded grabing you by the scruff of the shirt and setting you on the couch where he could watch you,
since it was a refined and more cleaned area you'd have nowhere to hide..

Dispite his attempt, you quickly teleported away, he saw and easily could've went after you in a fright of you having something of his, but.. He just let you go, you thought about it.. And honestly he had some good snacks, you were definitely going to rob him more often

You had the small amount of energy left to teleport to your evil villian Lair and popped down on your comfy bed filled with plushies and swuishmallows, with stickers littered on the walls and L.E.Ds stuck at the top of the wall, while monster cans layed at the bottom of your bed and hazardously old food under

You also stole a monkey. Thats what you had stolen he didnt care to check you for,it popped out from your hat and crawled next to you, and curled up as you pushed him closer to your face so you could pull the covers up.
