32- Heavily Guarded

~Klene POV~

"How did he escape from Shadow! Where is he?" I whispered shout once Reese and Deja informed me about him escaping. "Say bye to your parents, love. Quickly," I rushed, making them both frown. 

They still left nonetheless while I telepathically order all of my guards to be alert. "I will meet you two back home, okay?" Deja asked while grabbing her keys out of her purse. "What? No, no. Ride with us," Reese pout while wrapping her arms around my neck.

"You two ride together. Me and our men will trail you," she said then leaned down to Reese and lifted her head up. "I love you," she whispered. "I love you too," Reese blushed then went behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist. 

She didn't have to lean in to give me a kiss. I grabbed her jaw and pulled her down into a slow kiss. "I love you," we both said then shared a short laugh. I grabbed Reese's hand and guided her to my car. 

One of the guards went to open the door, but I waved him off and opened the door for her. "Thank you," she whispered then gave me a kiss on the lips. I could feel the butterflies settling in already. "Damn, Reesee Cup."

When we made it home, Klene rushed us inside and immediately called Shadow's name. The lights dimmed, but they brightened. "Shadow!" She shouted while going to the bar room. We followed her until she went to the bar. "Baby, maybe-" Reese started to explain, but the light's finally went out around us. 

This is the first time I've seen Shadow fully and he looked terrible. "Mistress. I'm injured," he grunted while falling to his knees. "What happened?" I asked, causing him to scoot closer to us and haul over in pain. "He- he fucking poisoned me then stabbed me!" He grunted in pain. 

Reese quickly helped him up, making him sigh like he's being relieved from the pain. "Thank you," he mumbled then stumbled. "What?" She mumbled, but he started falling forward. I helped him and he immediately looked me in my eyes. 

"I-I'm better. Thank you," he whispered. "You're better? Klene, what is he talking about?" I asked, pulling away from him. "You both healed him, baby," she answered. "I- how?" Reese asked for me. "You both are my wives. My equals; therefore we have the same abilities," she explained and I immediately smiled. 

"Shadow, where is Lucifer?" I slowly asked, feeling Ryan struggle to stay down within my being. "I don't know. I've had my people to search through every fucking dark corner and every shadow. Even my dogs couldn't find him. He must be somewhere where light is on him constantly," he said while looking to my feet. 

I clenched my jaw and stared at him. "I see. You've had your fun, but now it's my turn," Ryan spoke which made me close my eyes. He only does this when he has hit his limit of being forced back. "Ryan?" Daysia called out, making me look at my girls and clench my jaw. 

"We're both here, my sweet lovers. I will find Lucifer and let you both have some fun with him, deal?" We asked them and Reese was immediately on board. "Deal," she quickly said then pulled me into a kiss which allowed Ryan to calm down. 

"Reesee Cup?" Daysia cautiously called. "Daysia, he tried to kill us. I thought I lost you when you put on that crown. I want my payback," Reese snapped then pulled away from me. 

She lifted her head up then shared a soft kiss with her. "You're going to want your round too, sweetheart. I've been wanting to put my hands on him ever since you passed out in that chair," she explained, earning a nod from our woman. 

"Okay," she whispered then looked to me. I leaned in and rubbed her face. "He might come back for us, love. I need to get him before he gets you both," I reasoned. She immediately wrapped her arms around my waist and frowned. 

She went to say something that I know will scare her more, so I kissed her head and let out a sigh. "Do not worry yourself, mama. We will handle it. I promise," I assured. She nodded her head and gave me a kiss. 

"What can I do?" Shadow asked. I looked at him then tilted my head back. "Nothing. You heal and enjoy your slaves. You couldn't keep Lucifer in your own playground," I sigh then rubbed my temples.

Reese grabbing my hands made me look at her as the lights went back to normal. "Before you start overworking yourself, let's sit down for a minute," she hummed. 

No, find Lucifer. Ryan rushed. 

"I need to find Lucifer, princess. Fuck," I mumbled, pacing the floor in front of them. Daysia stopped me and slid her hands under my shirt. "No, don't seduce me right now, baby," I frowned then pulled back from her. 

She gave me a pout until she quickly looked at Reese. "Be safe, Kiwi," she said, making me look at them like they're up to something they have no business doing. "Always. The guards will be on alert and they're surrounding the house. I love you both," I said all in one breath before heading to the portal back home. 

When I went through it, I wasted no time on going to Lucifer's domain. Me and a couple of my guards searched his entire home. "Not even his wife," I heard as I sat at his desk. "Fuck!" I shouted then went to push everything off of his desk. 

I quickly caught the words crown on a paper that was hidden under some files. I picked it up and read how the crown was to put us into a deep sleep since we cannot be killed by him or any 'supernatural' abilities. 

I quickly read over the paper, but it didn't give me a location of his whereabouts. "Where are you, Luc?" I grunted under my breath. I went through everything, but all it was about where he would have held us as he searches for something that will permanently keep us unconscious.

This is not helping us, K. Ryan grunted. 

I leaned my head into my hands and let out a sigh. "I'm going to lose my fucking mind."
