The Deadly Catacombs (Part 2)

Isaac stood up, looking around occasionally because there has been so many beasts and monsters that can just grab him, hand by hand, and break him limb from limb. Isaac brushed himself off, and looked at the wall for a second. "We should go." Isaac told. "Fine by me. I can go for a run." Cain said. Maggy didn't say a word. She just stayed sitting down, as her head was buried in her legs. Isaac tapped her shoulder, and she jumped. "Isaac, I was asleep. Don't scare me like that." Maggy told him as she stood up. "Sorry." Isaac said.

So they just walked out of the room, going west and they looked. They didn't see anything, but the doors slammed shut. Then they saw something was rising out of the pits. It looked like it was just a giant, black blob. It dripped tar, and there were spiders stuck to it. Isaac, preparing his laser as Cain was getting a bomb primed, started to scatter around for crowd control. "Hey Isaac, fire at this." Cain yelled at Isaac as Maggy was in the middle, firing her tears, and they kept crossing. Isaac fired at the bomb, and the bomb seemed to glow with a strange, red shine. Cain threw it at the blob, and it exploded and split apart with a very weird sounding squish.

It tore into more parts, but with less spiders. It seemed to be enraged and chased after Cain. Isaac shot his piercing laser and they seemed to die rather quick. Spiders flew off them, scattering the floor. One of them was a giant spider, chasing Maggy because she had arachnophobia. Maggy shrieked as she fired a tear at them. She shrieked so loud that the other beasts in the cave could hear it, chased the spiders away, heck, even Samson in the hole could hear it. The rooms opened back up, and they saw another golden room.

"Isaac, Maggy, come here." Cain said as he unlocked the room. There was a glowing fly on the pedastool and Isaac went over to touch it. "HelLO." it said. Isaac gasped, and backed away. "Don'T worRy, I wiLl HElP yoU Out." the fly said. "MY naMe is SMarT Fly, I WilL Help." So Isaac picked up Smart, and he began to orbit him. So Isaac walked out and introduced him to the others. Cain saw another locked door and they walked in. And they finally arrived to the shop.

"Oh great, it's this guy again..." Maggy said. "Be quiet, you'll hurt him." Isaac said. They saw the second piece to the ladder that they needed to get Samson out of the pit. It was fifteen cents, and Isaac checked his wallet. He only had ten. "Hey Isaac, I have some money you can use. It's only three extra cents, but it will get you closer." Maggy said, giving Isaac the pennies. Cain laid the bombs down towards the fires and got a penny out of it. "One more cent..." Isaac said. Cain remembered that the tar covered monster had a penny on it, but he lost where it was. "Hold on, I'll be back." Cain told them, then Cain ran out.

Isaac and Maggy walked out, only to see something waiting for them. They were fat versions of Joe, as they spat out blood blindly. Almost missing every shot because they were so low to the ground, they seemed to be relatively weak. "I don't want to kill them because they are so cute..." Maggy said, trying to befriend another. "I'm gonna name you Jill!" she said. Not doing anything, he just shot at her and hit her in the foot. "Ouch. Not coming, huh?" she said, irritated. She began to walk away and then she shot it. It exploded smally, but bloodily.

"Well then." Isaac said. So they began to look for Cain, as he was searching for the penny inside of the room. While they were searching, they seemed to find a lock of Samson's hair in quite away of the room that he is in. Then they heard Cain yelling "Eureka!" in the other room. Isaac and Maggy turned, and ran to where they heard Cain's voice.

"Isaac, here's your penny." Cain said, but not releasing it.

"Thanks." Isaac replied. Cain's grip tightened as Isaac was trying to grab it.

"Hey, can't you sell some of your things for like a nickel?" Isaac said.

"I need this so we can get Samson out of the hole."

"But Isaac, I need it for the bomb in the shop." Cain replied. Isaac sighed, and ripped the penny out of his hand, and walked away. He just bought the second piece of the ladder as Maggy was walking back to Samson. Cain just looked distraught, and went straight away to the giant beast room.

"Samson, Isaac has the second ladder piece, we're gonna get you out." Maggy told him as Isaac was catching up.

"Thanks, I need it to get out of here, as you know." Samson repeated. So Isaac reached down and Samson put the ladder back together, and placed it. Samson climbed out and stretched. He took a deep breath.

"Ah, it feels great to finally be out." Samson said, relieved.

"And who are you guys?"

"I'm Isaac, this is Maggy and... where's Cain?" Isaac said. "Anywho, I think this belongs to you." Isaac gave Samson his lock of hair.

"Ah?" Samson questioned. But then, something came behind Samson, and nudged his leg.

"Why have you escaped your hole?!" it shrieked.

"No reason except..." Samson said, backing away. "This!" Samson ran towards the thing, kicking it in the hole. But it's mouth was wide open, and had lots of slobber cover his foot.

"...GROSS..." Maggy and Samson said, together. Samson tried to frantically wipe it off on something, but he found nothing. Instead, he just let the dirt and dust soak it up, which looked very disgusting. He left a large, wet footprint in the ground. Then everyone heard a loud roar coming from another room.

"Cain?!" Isaac yelled, going in the direction of the roar. He walked into a room with those gurgling beasts, as Maggy and Samson walked towards a red, closed door.

"That must be where Cain is..." Maggy said. But Isaac was in a bit of trouble as well. The door slammed right on Isaac's heel and caught Samson's hair in the door. "Ouch!" they yelled at the same time. Isaac was helplessly firing his laser as one of the gurgling monsters shot an explosive, corrosive bomb at him. It broke a piece of his left horn, and it made it less sharp than what it was. The door released, and some of the skin on Isaac's heel was left off as some of Samson's hair fell off.

"No... No no no!" Samson yelled. "I need my hair to keep my strength!" Isaac shook his head, rubbing his heel.

"Isaac! Samson! Cain is in the room. We need to get him out!" Maggy shouted. Joe made some sort of weird chirping noise. Joe got bigger and seemed to get faster. But was still quite small. He decided to crawl under the door, and he unlocked it from the inside. "Thanks Joe!" Maggy said, petting him. He chirped again and looked up.

"What is that thing?!" Samson yelled. "I heard it growl before, but I don't know who it came from."

"I named it Carrion Queen!" Cain yelled. "It can carry lots of heavy things like rocks, and some bombs, and it looked like an old lady." The "Carrion Queen" got mad, and threw Cain off. He felt his black aura fly from the body, not feeling as energetic as he was. It growled at a high pitch, and Cain looked at it. The black aura flew right into the Carrion Queen's eyes, and it screamed. It laid down a red pile of poop, then it started to move in a diagonal pattern, in a fast motion.

"Whoa." they all said. Cain tried to get out of the way in time, but he couldn't. Instead he was ran over by the Queen, and it started to move around again. Cain rolled across the floor, holding his arm, in tears. Isaac laid down a bomb in front of her, and she ate it by accident. She made a face, as it was still inside. It exploded her stomach, kidney, and heart. She soon disintegrated, leaving behind a red food pouch. Then a dark place showed up, similar to the other Devil Room.

They walked in, only to find an upside down cross in it. "Let me take this one." Cain said. "Don't do it, your weak." Samson said. So he jumped in front and took the deal. Samson didn't feel weaker though, but his back felt weird. He felt back, as he was turning a dark color and seemed to grow demon wings.

"What do I do about this?!" Samson shouted. He moved his back in a pattern and was lifted off the ground.

"We should go now." Cain said. Then they leaped down the door, to only smell an unpleasant smell...
