10: Father

MINHYUN'S POV

After Ha eun and Yu Jin left Jaemin asked me " hey bro! Please tell me what happened earlier?"

Then I sighed and said "it's nothing".

And here we go again, he started his drama "I knew it, you don't see me as your bestfriend anymore 'sob sob' now you have another bestfriend so you will stop hanging out with-".

I cut him off and said "ughh fine i will tell you".

"You are the best" he said and started giving me flying kisses.

"Eww" i said making disgusted face.

"Okay now tell me" he said.

Then i told him that i called Ha eun because I want to take her English notes and then the rest. I didn't tell him the whole truth.

"Okay so first of all when did you started paying attention on studies?" He asked.

"We should go home it's late" I said and stood up trying to change the topic.

"Bro, you're trying to change the topic, right?" he asked also standing up.

"Think whatever you want" I said and started walking.

"Ha eun didn't lie when she said you are cold af" he said.

"Huh when did she say that?" I said raising my left eyebrow and turning my face to him.

"I'm hungry, I didn't had my dinner yet" he said trying to change the topic.

"You are changing the topic" I said.

"Think whatever you want" he said while smirking...tsk....this brat.

when we reached home he said "hey! Wanna have a latte?"

"No" I said and went inside my house

I heard him screaming outside the door "jerk".

NEXT DAY

I was sleeping peacefully suddenly I heard someone's scream "wake up! You are still sleeping, don't you have anything to do other then sleeping? It's late....... wake up now" I opened my eyes and saw my father........is he here to meet me?

"Dad......what are you doing here so early in the morning?" I said as I sat up.

"Early? It's 8 am, you are so lazy. Get up and do some work." he said.

"Anyways why are you here?" I asked coldly.

"Where are your manners? Is this a way to talk to your father?" He said scolding me.

"Yes, I don't have any manners" i replied.

"You brat, you will never change" he sighed.

"Anyways I'm here to tell you that I'm going overseas for some business work" he said.

I was wrong he isn't here to meet me. He never cared about me, always work work work I'm sick of him. Why is he like this? If mom was here everything would be fine like before. It's all his fault and his work, if that day......'sigh' I don't want to remember that day.

"And about Hye Jin she will live here from now on" he said.

"What do you mean by 'from now on'? You are the one who said that she's fucking going to live with you. And you left me alone, thanks to Jaemin he told me to stay with him. Now you are saying that she's not going to live with you anymore" I said raising my voice.

"How dare you raising your voice at me? You brat!" He shouted.

"You fucking left me, Hye Jin and mom alone that day. Because of you She not here today! It's all your fault" I shout back.

"I kept calling you but no, you didn't picked up my call, if you would've picked up that call mom would be here! It's all becau-"

'SLAP'

He fucking slapped me.

"SHUT UP! YOU ARE SUCH A BURDEN. IT'S YOUR MOM'S FAULT, SHE DIDN'T TEACH YOU ANY MANNERS AND  WHAT DID YOU EVEN KNOW? YOU WERE JUST 8 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME. UGHH WHY DID YOU EVEN BORN..... JUST GO AND DIE SOMEWHERE, YOU BRAT!" he shouted.

I stood up, took my jacket and phone and went outside after saying "I FUCKING HATE YOU! DON'T YOU DARE TO COME HERE AGAIN! OR ELSE I WILL FORGET THAT YOU ARE MY FATHER"

While going downstairs I heard him shouting "YOU BRAT!"

I went outside and i really don't know where to go, so i went to Jaemin's house. He's my neighbour.

I went inside without knocking as I know his parents are not home. They're at work.....gosh I hate work word now.

I went to his room and as soon as he saw me he come towards me and Said "Minhyun? What's wrong? Why is your eyes are so red and puffy? Did you cry? Tell me who beat you? I will kick his ass....." He showered me with bunch of questions. He cares about me, he's the only one I have now.

Suddenly I hugged him and now I can't control anymore then I burst out crying.

"Yah yah yah.... what's wrong with you? Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry....are you crying because I didn't tell you when Ha eun said that you're cold af?" He panicked.

"N-no, my f-father is here...... Jaemin w-what should I do? He doesn't c-care about me" I said.

He became silent as he already know everything about my family.

"Shhh.... first of all Stop crying and sit here" he takes me to couch and told me to sit then after I stopped crying he asked "so tell me the whole thing".

Then I told me the whole thing and he comforted me a little.

"Aren't you going to school by the way?" I asked.

"Dude it's Sunday....what are you talking about?" He replied.

"Huh?" Then I took my phone out and checked whether it's Sunday or not.

"so just forget everything and let's go somewhere today and have fun.... what do you think?" He asked.

"Hmm sounds good!" I said.

"Okay then let's invite Ha eun and Yu Jin too, Is that okay?" He asked.

"Hmm" I said.

Then he called Ha eun and put the phone on speaker and she picked up then he said "hey cupcake! How are you?"

What the fuck? Cupcake? Is he serious?

"I'm good what about you?" She asked.

"I'm great.....so the reason I called you is we are hanging out wanna join?" He asked.

"Really? I'm in. Is Minhyun is also coming?" She asked.

my name from her mouth sounds so good......ohh God what I'm thinking about?

"Yes he is coming, bring Yu Jin with you also" he said.

"Okay I will" she said.

"Okay bye bye cupcake!" He said and end the call.

"What's with that cupcake thing? You are so cringy" i Said

"It's nickname you'll not understand. Anyways let's get ready. go your home to get ready and then come back" he said.

"Okay" I Said and left.
