CHAPTER 1

Harven 's  P.O.V

I open my eyes and had a realization.

I look at the same ceiling and live the same day. Ever since I had a 'strange dream', I like to play because when I feel happy, I will have that dream repeatedly.

I don't know why but I got addicted to that dream. I can't remember what I am dreaming about when I woke up but the sensation stuck inside my heart.

So, why I am feeling a little off today? 

I still have that sensation but my mind isn't processing the things I felt.

I walk to the balcony and the wind blew softly. My eyes squinted and my mind tried to recall the thing I dreamed,

"Ugh",

It's misty. I can't see clearly. The feeling has completely faded away. I trembled as soon as I think about my future, what is the purpose of my life again?

All I do was play, sleep, and practically nothing. Now that I don't have the joy of playing and sleeping, what need I do???

Yeah, that's that. Father has told me that I should try to practice controlling my mana, that's actually what an elementary school learns for the basic.

My level...it's only on par with the elementary school? What a harsh truth.

Should I try it? Will the father be willing to teach me? I felt like he had given up on me ages ago... will I be able to convince him?

Meeting with the Rosevalt's Patriarch

"Are you insane?! You have long passed the age suitable for sensing mana and want to control something you don't have? how absurd!",

It pricks right to his atrium from hearing his father's words,

"then, should I try to become a swordsman?",

Said Harven while touching his chin like he is thinking hard. The patriarch's eyes show 'insane b------ with no self-conscious',

"the children your age should have enrolled in the academy and become the prodigies of their age and you just want to start now? don't you feel you are only wasting everyone's time just to teach you the basics?",

Harven spit out a mouthful of blood. His father is discouraging him from the start,

"What makes you even want to try when you have no slightest clue of wanting to train, Harven?",

Ask the Patriarch of the Rosevalt family, Duke Carnine Xine Rosevalt to his fourth son with a slightly subtle look. Harven put his hands behind his head and shrug his shoulder,

"Well, I have gotten bored",

It's not wrong but not a fit answer either. Duke Carnine's vein popped out of his head and shouted,

"leave this instant! This is not a place for you to joke around just because you are bored!",

"H...huh?",

He got kicked out and was dumbfounded. It's true though? He has gotten bored with his dream and wants to do something else,

"I guess father got anger issues",

He strode around while letting out a whistle. There was no one around as everyone was being outside of the household.

His 1st brother was a mage acknowledged by the Mage Tower's master for his achievement and living there for almost 2 years now. 

His 2nd sister was a master swordsman at a level to achieve a breakthrough to the realm of Grandmaster, a realm where there's only one person inside the continent who managed to achieve it and 10 in the whole world. 

His 3rd sister is the great alchemist who concocts the only elixir in the whole world by coincidence. The elixir told can even bring the dead to life because of its miraculous effect a single drop can instantly heal a wound that almost cut a person in half.

His 5th sister is the one in a thousand prodigies with a sage-like brain that can see the depth of the galaxy. If you ask one question to her, her answer will always be as thick as five dictionaries all together. She can even skip the academy because of her achievement in becoming the strategist to the soldiers who fought a 100 years war and ended it with overwhelming victory.

As for his 6th and 7th brother, they are a genius summoner additional with the greatest trait from  the renown mage's on his 8th circle, only one circle below the Master of the Mage's Tower. They manage to summon the twin headed dragon as their companion. They also currently studied in the greatest academy in the whole world located at the central continent.

They all may come from the same womb but the 4th one is the laziest and once there's a gossip said that 'Harven is not the real child of Rosevalt's family'. They may think so just by looking at his attitude and appearance. All his siblings have either sharp dark eyes or crimson red eyes, but he possessed the common brown eyes.

All his sibling have either silver or dark purple hair, but he possessed the common dark brown hair. There's nothing similar between Harven and his parents but his traits similar to the first generation of his mother lineage which power is unknown compare to Rosevalt.

From there, they think that all his act is because he followed how his ancestors act but the rumors quiet down after the bigger incident happens, demon's invader.

For the conclusion, there's no one here except Harven, his father and his mother,

"Should I go to meet my mother?",

He jump while humming like a child towards his mother chamber.
