THE BELL HAD JUST rung signifying class had just ended, i quickly packed up my things to go outside and enjoy my lunch and to hopefully take some pictures for reference or for the newspaper club
"Y/n! Are you going outside for lunch, mind if I join you?" I looked up to see a boy with choppy bangs and bright smile, Amane
"Sorry Amane, but I'm gotta go out to take pictures for the newspaper club. I don't think you'd want to see me doing that the whole time" I gave a small smile and waved, with that I walked off
›─Tsukasa─‹
"You tried Amane, Maybe ask them out After school! I doubt they'd be doing anything!" Tsukasa came from behind me with a reassuring pat to my shoulder "yeah...I guess so..."
›─Y/n─‹
"Y/n-San!" I turn my head to see my best friend Nene-Chan running toward me looking angry "hi Nene, is everything okay?" I say letting my camera rest on my neck looking at you.
"No! Everything is not fine! You just turned down Amane-Kun to take some pictures!" She pointed a finger in my face causing me to flinch back
"Is that a bad thing-" she cuts me off quickly "YES." Tilting my head to the side i question her, all I wanted to do was get some work done before it ends up unfinished
"He's been trying to get close to you for months now! And you're so occupied with your art and newspaper club to notice!" She says, each words she speaks to comes closer until I hit the bench tripping and falling onto it into a sitting while NeNe hovers over me
"Nene i-" I put my hands up in a defensive manner but she quickly grabs them both
"No! You're going to take a break and hear him out at least once! I heard them talking before I left and Amane-Kun is thinking of asking you out later after school." She pauses and gives me a big smile before—though it looked sad—continuing
"You work really hard Y/n-San..I just want you to be happy okay?"
I lookup into her eyes, they were practically pleading me on their own for me to join Amane later. I sigh and my eyes soften a bit, I meet her gaze
"Fine...if the opportunity arises, I'll go with him somewhere. But just this once!" I say to get my point across "Yay!" Nene jumps up and claps her hands in joy
After that the bell had rung meaning it was time to return to class "hm.. I'll see you later Nene-Chan" I gave her a quick head pat, gave a small smile, then quickly left

'Did they just pat me on the head?!' I shake the thought from my mind, 'no NeNe! You just told them they should go with Amane-kun you can't be crushing on Y/n-San now!'
I sigh and start on my way to class with a now red face
