"Awwwwww!! Niall!!! You really didn't have to!!" I told Niall as I opened a jewelry box with a beautiful diamond heart necklace he had bought me for my 18th birthday. "Of course I did Delilah!! It's your 18th birthday and you are my Cherry Blossom!!! I love you so much." "I love you, too Niall." Tears were starting to form in my eyes. He was the best BF ever.

**11Years ago**

*DELILAHS POV*

I was 7 years old, and I was on a flight to Ireland. My mom, dad and I are moving there because my dad got a promotion in his job, and it just happened to be some 700,000 miles from our old home, in Chicago. I was listening to "Hey There Delilah" which I was positive was written about me. I was singing the lyrics as I got out of the car, walking towards our new home, in Mullingar, when a blonde haired boy started yelling out the lyrics as well. I blushed, but kept singing anyways. When the song was over, and we stopped belonging the lyrics, he said "Hi!!! I'm Niall!!!!! I really love that song!!! What's your name?" "Hi Niall! I'm Delilah, and I love that song because-" I was cut off before I could finish. "You love it because it's,written about you of course!! Can you maybe come over so we can sing together?" He blushed. I,said "Sure, I'll go ask." As I walked back over to Niall, excited to go sing with him. Before I got to him , I looked at his eyes, and I saw a sparkle that chopped I would never have to be without. I said that I could come over to his house, which was across the street from mine. We linked arms as I re-played "Hey There Delilah" on my iPod. He introduced me to his mom, Maura, his dad Bobby, and his older brother Greg. We went up to his room, and we started singing and, I realized, we were going to be the bestest of friends.

*NIALLS POV*

I was happy that Delilah moved across from me. We ended up spending every moment of spair time with each other. We were really good friends now. I was 14 now, and she was 13. We were only 1 year,apart. She was turning 14 on,September 13, and I was turning 15. I hoped she was planning to in it me to her party, but I wish it wasn't a sleepover.

*DELILAHS POV*

"Ahhhh!! Delilah!!!! I can't believe you're turning 14 in exactly a month!!!" Ivy, my BFF said. "I know right!!!!!" "Have you thought of any ideas for your party yet?" She asked excitedly. "Well, I can't have a sleepover, I want Niall to come!!! I saw the look on her face , and I knew she was looking forward to me having a sleepover. I started to think about it more....maybe I could have sleepover, and Niall could just go home right before the girls I was going to invite were going to bed. "Maybe I am going to have a sleepover after all!!!" I said, and felt less guilty as I saw her face brighten up. "Yay!!!!!" She squealed.Before she could say anything else, I got a call from Niall."Hey Delilah! Is it ok if I can come over to your house?" I asked my parents and Ivy if it ok and st both said yes. I told Niall and I heard him excitedly say on the other end that he would be there in 3 minutes. I knew why he wanted to come over, he wanted to discuss our birthday parties. He knocked on the door, and I walked up to the door and said "Who is it?!" In a singsongy voice. "Its pizza delivery man!!" He said with what sounded like no lying at all in his tone. I opened the door and he actually was a pizza delivery man, he was carrying a pizza, 3 sodas. I took the drinks from him, grabbed 3 plates for the pizza. He was already in my room talking to Ivy about something, but he stopped as soon as soon as he heard me come in."Hey Niall!! Thanks for the pizza!!" I said suspiciously. "No problem." "Yeah, thanks Niall." Ivy said. She started giggling and soon Niall started too. I felt left out, but in a good way.I just pretented to cry and stuck out my bottom lip. "Oh Delilah!! " Ivy said playfully. "You guys are so mean!!" I said. "We were just talking about my birthday party, you'll find out soon enough." He ended his sentence with a cheeky smile.I tried to ignore that and just sat back on the floor next to Ivy and Niall. I got my laptop and opened up Microsoft Word.and typed in "B-day Plans". Niall stole my laptop and typed in big, bold letters that took up the whole page "NIALL WAS HERE." I groaned, if only people knew the real Niall... I decided to ask Niall what he was doing for his birthday party. He said "I don't know yet. I was hoping you could give me some ideas?" God, he is so adorable!! "Well, you like food!! Why don't you have everyone make something at your party, like pizza or something easy to make?" "Your a genius Delilah!!!" He said as he pulled me in for a hug. I immediately got butterflies! "Hey Delilah, sorry to interrupt your hug, but Niall and I need to talk about his birthday and what we're getting you!!! So, not to be rude, but could u please leave?" Ivy asked me. "Fine then, be that way!!!" I said, but she knew I was just joking. I decided to text Rae, another of my many BFFS, and see if she wanted to come over while Ivy and Niall talked "Birthday plans". "Hey Rae!! U wanna come over?!?! :)" I textd Rae. I got an almost instant reply. "Sure!!!! I'll be over in a sec." She replied. In a matter of minutes, Rae was ringing my doorbell. "Hi Rae!!!! Come on in!!" " Hey hey girl!!!!!" Rae said as she burst through my front door with a "Toy Story" movie. "What's with the "Toy Story" movie?" I ask her. "You know Liam right? I went over to his house to hang yesterday, and he totally turned me on to the movies!!!! They are so good!!!!" "Yeah,he turned you on to the MOVIES." I said with a smile as she blushed. "Lets go up in your room and watch it!!!" She said. "We can't." I said. "Why not???" She asked with confusion spread across her face."Cus' Niall and Ivy are in there talking about Nialls b-day party and what they are gonna get me and stuff." I explained. "Oh. Lets go in the basement instead!!!!" She said. I didn't try to get her to spy on them because I knew she wanted me to watch the movie because I knew she loved Liam that much, so she would obsess over it to have a reason to talk to him. She made me smile sometimes I thought as I saw her putting in the DVD into the player, which reminded me of a child on Christmas morning. Liam was a good friend of mine, so I decided to invite him over via text message. "Hey Liam!! Do u wanna come over to my ace? Rae is here and we r watch in Toy Story!! ;D" I got a trackback saying "Sure!!! Just save me a spot on the couch next to Rae!! ;)" I must have been mini screaming because Rae looked at me and asked "What?" I was afraid she would get mad at me, but here goes nothing!!! "Well, I invited Liam over and he said he would come over only if he could sit next to u while we watch the movie." I said as I bit my lip nervously, waiting for a reply. All she could do was blush, and also never stop smiling, but at the same time, she looked horrified. I heard the doorbell ring, expecting it to be Liam, and it was.He was carrying popcorn and movie candy. It's like every guy who comes to my house brings food!!!!! But you won't see me complaining! "Hi Liam!! Rae and I are watching the movie downstairs." "HAS IT STARTED YET????" He asked with a worried look on his face. "No Liam, Rae insisted that we were for you to arrive until we watched it." A wave of relief took him over. I started laughing as I saw him blush as he heard Raes name. I started laughing. "What's so funny?!?" He asked with a serious look on his face. "YOU LIKE RAE!!!!!" I practically yelled for everyone in the house to hear. They did because about 5 seconds later, Rae came up the steps. "Oh, Hi Liam!!" She said as she tried not to blush, but she failed horribly. To try to break the awkward silence, I said "Why dont we go watch the movie now?" They both nodded and headed downstairs. I just coldnt help but think about what Niall and Ivy were talking about. I guess i would find out sooner or later!
